Would you trade your iPhone for an Android?

Nope better resale, better OS,better apps, better App Store, better customer service in the apple shops.

Had android but don't get me wrong I loved it. I know love iOS and the phone I have just as much.

Who knows next upgrade time I may switch but that's then, this is now and have no intention at the moment to go back.

My colleague just got LG G2, from ip4s. Let's see how long it takes for him to go back after a few days lol

Opinions .... in MY opinion note 3 isn't even a smartphone, and android, especially after the Samsung "customization", is a bloated os .... Opinions.

huh ? I would agree with ' N3 isn't just a smartphone :D

The Samsung touchwiz [ don't like it either ] doesn't bother me much anymore and can be minimized, or removed if rooted..

Or, just download the various launchers from google and bye-bye touchwiz. Heck, even Google Now has a built in launcher now that makes the N3 [ or any 4.2+ device ] just like the Nexus 5 :)

The Note 3 is simply...kicka$$

iPhone is like a luxury car that is extremely reliable...
Android is like a cheap Chinese/Korean car with poor reliability track record

Why don't you consider note 3 a smartphone, is it the size? I agree on bloat ware comment. I just removed and turned alot of those items off.

The size is the first point: any smartphone so huge is just ridiculous for me.

Construction quality for a flagship is a joke in my opinion: Samsung isn't capable to make an high end device that doesn't resemble a 100$ cheap phone ...

To be honest, I - as many others - owned quite a few smartphones so far. But the results of such episodes was always an iPhone. Don't know why, maybe because I collected quite a few apps over the years. Or because I like jailbreaking and screwing around with tweaks and Cydia.

But if I had to choose an android device, I'd take the Moto X. It looks and feels really nice, has mostly stock android with tweaks that actually have earned that name.

The problem about android is that most additions that we're not intended by Google simply seem kind of half-baked. The development and implementation gets stuck at 75%. That's probably the biggest problem, everyone pulls in a different direction. Skins aren't the problem, but the differences of user experiences throughout the systems.

I hate everything about Samsung, probably more than you do, and this post is stupid. The "construction quality" is completely fine; they're not cheap. Plastic isn't inherently cheap or bad. Not sure why I'm even responding.

The construction quality is ridiculous ... It's not the fact to be made of plastic. Is the kind of plastic used ...

A Nokia Lumia doesn't feel so cheap as a Samsung smartphone .... It's still plastic, but different quality.

I get suckered into responding things like this too.

I have. Multiple times. Tried a GS3 and a Note 2. Came crawling back. Lately I lasted in Android a bit longer. In my brief stint with Android (6 months), however, I went through three phones. One flat out starting having issues less than three months after owning, one had horrid battery life, and the Moto X I have is fine...enjoyable enough that I'm keeping it for now, but it's no longer my daily. I happily accepted a used iPhone 5 off eBay, which spec-wise is an obvious downgrade from the Moto X, over continuing to use the Android platform.

Luckily the 5 came with a SquareTrade warranty and bum lock button, so I'm rocking the new replacement.

lol.. I was going to respond to his post, but then...would've been banging my head against a wall ! :p

I consider cell/smartphones disposable, and as such, the build quality of the N3 is just fine for me!

I would consider it but it would take a lot.

I looked at it a year or two ago and didn't find compelling hardware. No top level smaller screened phones - go big or go crappy.

It would also require me to buy new software and peripherals. I have a Mac, airport express and lots of a accessories. Everyone in my family has an idevice or Mac so messaging is easy. Everything works together.

At this point I have no reason to leave.

Thanks iOS 7!

I preferred the iPhone despite so many people trying to convince me to go with Android. Then I installed iOS 7 on my iPhone 5. It causes my phone to crash several times a week. Last week, it crashed and rebooted during a VERY important phone call. Not only that, the phone did now show the number of the phone call, so I could not call back.

I bought an HTC One last week.

iOS 7.1 will fix all those issues [ testing with a dev account ]. Version 7.1 is very stable!! :)

HTC One is an incredible phone too, albeit a bit dated since the HTC One 2 is due to be out sometime in March.

The first time I have ever considered was the Nexus 5, that thing is clean and pretty cheap for what it offers. Still rocking the iPhone 5 though.

I've only had iPhones. The last couple years I've been more and more tempted to switch. I want a phone with a bigger screen. If Apple doesn't come through this year I may go to the new HTC One. If they do come through I'll be camping out the night before.

Had a Motorola Droid X before my iPhone 4S. After switching, the Droid felt very discombobulated and clumsy. No reason to go back (especially with having a rMBP...phone/computer feels completely integrated and not separate pieces). iPhone does everything I need it to and doesn't fuss.
