I have a 5s as well as Note 3 and the Note 3 is just as good if not better than the 5s in most departments. The only thing the 5s is clearly better at is low light pictures and audio sound. Give android a try and you might just find some features that are very appealing.

True but FaceTime only works for people with iPhones. I still have a few contacts using Android devices. The Wifi calling feature actually replaces your cellular signal with WiFi

Well if Android has wifi calling it only works with people with iPhones (if so then people with iPhones can wifi call). So what's your point?

Unless you mean there is some 3rd party service only available to Android.

I disagree
There's a reason why Apple puts so much detail and work into their device's experience. First impressions are everything. You are right in saying that all Androids aren't plagued with those problems. But as a consumer can you blame someone for wanting something that works the first time without having to jump through loops? Not really.

Works the first time? Safari has had a memory leak since iOS 7 was released. You can make Apple.com crash on any iOS 7 device with little effort. Apple has fixed this in 7.1...

Are you running iOS 7.1 beta? If not your full of it.

I'm not talking exclusively about Safari or one particular thing. Most things work the first time with an iPhone with minimal effort.

But since you were wondering, Apple.com works fine on both my 5S and iPad 3 which both are running iOS 7.

I've had both I started with the DROID x had an iPhone 4s have 5th gen ipod touch first gen ipad and saving to upgrade and phone is currently a galaxy s4. I enjoy both platforms love the bigger screen the only thing I don't like about android is music in the car most manufacturers make the car systems for Apple android u have to use a aux jack and u can't see the songs etc so I just use my ipod in the car android it's nice not having to deal with iTunes . I never understood the hate on either side I have loved both platforms and will probably own the best of both worlds forever it's fun to see what each side comes up with each year and what is the same I say stop the in fighting and enjoy this exciting age of technology

Would you trade your iphone for any android phone ? Only serious answers please , no arguments needed just honest opinions !

I actually owned quite a lot android phones .... I won't trade my iPhone for any android phone, even if they give it to me for free.

I don't trust Google and I don't like Android in many ways. I prefer Windows on my secondary phone.

there is so much prejudice towards android here.

i admit android pre-ICS or even pre-JB if you are extremely demanding was a sub-par product, but it has made enormous progress over the past 18 months starting with 4.1 JB.

before i used to look at android with disgust and disdain, now i feel likewise about iOS 7.

JB and KK are not only extremely advanced, versatile and solid operating systems, but very fun to use as well.
Not yet tried KitKat, but all the droids in my house are at least 4.1 and there is nothing solid and fun to use in them .....

I am sorry I made a mistake (happens on those touchscreens). not the HTC One but the One X and. one X+ won't get updates. for everyone speaking german here is the link http://www.computerbase.de/news/2014-01/htc-one-x-und-one-x-plus-erhalten-keine-updates-mehr/

Yep. I could image how happy are user of a less-than-a-year-old One X+ that couldn't install KitKat on his device ....

Sorry, but I will take this:

The choice with iOS interface is either very tired (iOS6) or just plain terrible (iOS7)

Because KitKat interface looks so different from iOS 7, right ?

For some reason I always end up coming back to iPhone. I'm not proud of it and I wish I didn't but I do. Can't explain it

Yes- Maybe

I just left the Verizon phone store and I am on the fence. Last week my wife upgraded to a Samsung S4 and I have had time to work with it. WOW! After you get used to the Android interface you find way more power under the surface.
Import Features I like about the S4 are:
1. Access to memory
2. Access to SD card
3. Huge screen
4. Price. $49 at costco vs $499 for the iPhone 5S with 64G.
I still would prefer the IPhone but I have to be rational.

I tried to make the switch away from android and purchased a 5s near launch. I ended up getting a Moto X on BF for $350.

Nah, but I will probably buy a used Nexus 5 to play with after I sell 5S in anticipation for ip6.

Co-worker has Nexus 5--it's great if you utilize a lot of google apps and have WiFi ac router.

I like to say I wouldn't but I have done so more than once...each time "learning my lesson" and coming back to an iPhone...but I've done it before and more than likely I'll do it again...lol...the iPhones def stay with me longer than the androids!

I also tried windows phones with the same result: back to iPhone very quickly.

I did, in September, for a Moto X. Loved it, but Android's inconsistency wore on me after a bit and I got a 5c on Wednesday. I've said I won't switch again before, so who knows, but I feel at home again with iOS.

That's not the point ... I'm registered in both, too, but I'm not storming the android forum to write about how better my iPhone is.

I've been registered over there for a year. One of the last few posts I made over there was explaining why I gave away my Nexus 7 after getting my Retina Mini and why I bought a 5S instead of a Nexus 5 to replaces my Nexus 4. My user name even had Nexus in it. I thought I was a Nexus user for life. Retina Mini changed all of that and the 5S too.
