If everyone could just take their phone out of their pocket when they sit down, especially to drive... am I the only one to whom this is painfully obvious?
Common sense does seem to be in short supply around the time of new product releases.
I said a few days ago that it was obvious to me that such a long, thin aluminum phone could get bent in a pocket. Then some people accused me of "defending Apple" by blaming the bent phones on the users, while at the same time other people accused me of "bashing Apple" because I was saying something negative about their new product.
Too much "pick a side" going on here. It's OK to get excited about a new iPhone, but I would hope that people spending big bucks on these things can take a moment to evaluate it objectively and realize "Hey, this is a lot longer and thinner, it might be more fragile than previous iPhones. I might want to be more careful with it."
