Here is every post in this thread by you so far.

You said above, "Haha I've offered plenty of relevancy to this topic."

Would you kindly point out where? All I see above is a bunch of whining and complaining about what you call "Wrapfail." I've also gone through your other posts in other Wrapsol threads, but the only "relevancy" you provided was to the effect of "Stay away from Wrapfail."

I fail to see any relevancy in your posts. All you've done is whine, complain, offer snarky remarks, tell people to stay away from "wrapfail", and tell people to go with a different company.

What am I missing here?
Haha, all of those posts are relevant to the topic at hand. A post dedicated to searching through my post history however, is not. Stay on topic.

No, relevancy is pertinence. There's no pertinence in your posts. And if you're convinced that your posts are relevant, then my posting them keeps my post relevant by your own definition. See where your argument is failing?

Either way, I'm only asking that instead of snide comments, why not offer something useful? :)

Do you or anyone know how thick on estimate the Ultra is?

Honestly, it's probably the thickest of all of the screen protectors. Let me do some searching and I'll try to find out. I think Yellow Frog had a post recently with it's actual thickness.

Haha, okay. Let's see, you're basically upset/disgruntled that I'm not posting comments that reflect your opinion or feelings. But, here's the deal ---opinions and feelings are just that. Everyone is entitled to one. I'm sorry that you let your emotions get the best of you and decide to lash out at me in hopes that I'll submit and adapt to your way of 'thinking', but nah --won't happen. Give it up, and stay on topic.

Maybe this might help, I just found this!

Doesn't say how thick it is, but says how strong it is. Interesting.

I'm not upset at all. You're very much entitled to your opinion. :) I just think your posts offer no relevancy and that you should offer your opinion more constructively. And according to you, I am on topic. ;)

Thank you so much!

Have you ever used the Ultra? If so, any tips on installing it?

Who are we kidding? You're very upset and hurt right now. It's blatantly obvious. Although I'm not bored enough to search through your post history and quote repeatedly as you did with me, there are several instances where youve practically advocated for wrapsol in numerous threads, but you and I both know...that's just what you do. You're letting your emotions overtake your thinking, and it's not pretty. You've got to stop taking opposing opinions or statements to heart. Wrapsol will continue to send you replacements if you need one I'm sure. After all, the customer service certainly seems to be well in control, unlike their product(s). So, this whole attempt to e-fight me isn't necessary. Now, have a good day sir. Conversation over. :apple:

Yep, same here. Thanks man. I forgot about that function! :)

Thank you so much!

Yes, I have. The biggest suggestion that people are saying is to get it wet. even though it's "dry application" many people are saying that some water and maybe a drop of dishwasher soap and cleaning it first really helps for an easy install. Also, don't forget to use the included wet wipe. It will help keep fingerprints off the film. Some also say to use a steamy bathroom, as it makes particles fall. This would help keep dust from getting on or under the screen during install. Just be wary (and make your own judgment call), because this may or may not trip your "wet" sensors in your phone and voiding your warranty. I don't know if it will or not. There's a lot of good info in these 40 pages (I know, a lot to go through), but you can try using the "Search this thread' function at the top to find some more tips.

Good luck!!!

Oh! And I heard that Wrapsol will have a new iPhone 4 install video coming soon. :)

Sweet!! Thank you so much!!

I think I will just wet my fingers, not sure if I wan't to go against the instructions and apply liquid directly on the protector.

I'll let you know how it goes!

Sounds good, at least use the included wet wipe on your fingers.

That I will do for sure.

When you say wet install, do I wet it like I would with the regular film?

Does it matter how much I wet it?

One guy a few pages back did a completely wet install, meaning he completely immersed or wet down the film as he positioned it (and it looks super nice). It's your call, though. It can be removed and put back on multiple times, so you can keep trying different ways if need be. Start with what you're comfortable with. I've done film installs a hundred times and I prefer wet myself. It makes positioning a lot easier.

I'll stick with Wrapsol's recommendations; wet fingers and apply dry.

I don't think there should be any issues.

I plan on using this a long with a very thin 0.2mm vinyl on the stainless steel band with a Bumpers over it. Do you think it will fit?

I want to use the Vinyl so the stainless steel band doesn't get scratched from debris and other things that get between the Bumper and the band.

What do you think?

I updated my post. ;)

But, I would start with that. If that's the instructions, give it a shot that way and see how it works for you. I've seen some people use Wrapsol WITH the bumper, but I don't know if they used a full film, all the way around. I've not seen any confirmation on whether this works yet or not. :( However, if you're using something else like that's very thin as you describe, then I think it will work. There's a little play in the bumper. In my opinion, I think that's a great idea. I plan on doing the same thing for the same reason.

Did you order that Vinyl from that guy on the forums? He has so many colors.

I just installed mine yesterday, and it looks great today. I did use the steamed up bathroom for the install. I did not wet the protector, but I did wet my fingers from the sink. I first tried to install the Apple Bumper over the side pieces, but it was too tight. No problems with just the front/back films with the bumper, the bumper fits very snug and secure. I do not see any risk of anything getting between the bumper and iPhone, as the rubber on the edges of the bumper is very tight against the Wrapsol Ultra.

That's interesting. Thanks for the info. Bummer that it doesn't work with the wrapsol on the sides, but that's okay. I may still try the vinyl just because I'm anal. Even the tightest cases I've used get dust under them, but I don't doubt you that it's very tight. Can you post pictures? :D

The problem is dust is so small that it get's anywhere. It's almost impossible unless it's sealed. Just in case, I'm using the vinyl.

I have the bumper on with the wrapsol sides installed so it does work.

I ordered the Ultra and it came in yesterday. Both films and squeegee were covered in dirt. The front and back film had scratches all over. I ordered a replacement from the Wrapsol website, but I have yet to receive a tracking number for the replacement. How long does it normally take for them to process?

I think the problem is how they tape the package. They need to fully tape all of the edges of the packaging to prevent dirt and other crap from entering inside.
