So here's my little review:

Received a first batch and those were horrible except for the back (after I ripped off the side pieces sticking too it). Received my second one and it's been a little over 48 hours since it's been applied.

The back is very clear and the bubbles/marks/streaks disappeared on it. The front is a different story, noticed two scratches which causes a rainbow like effect and still has little indents on it (pretty positive it's not dust). So I'm not really satisfied and not sure I want to go through the warranty replacement again.

Also a word of warning:
If you have oily fingers, this wrap is probably not for you. It picks up everything and it sucks that I have to wipe it down so much.

Also the wrap doesn't seem to like the bumper as it starts lifting off the screen (this was after waiting a little over 48 hours before bumper application). I also noticed that the thickness causes the bumper to not fit correctly so that the volume buttons don't feel right.

A positive for this wrap is it does seem fairly thick and their claim of drop protection might actually have some merit.

All in all, I'm not sure if I could recommend this wrap.

Switched my Wrapsol Ultra for an Original, I must say, I like this one 5000000x better :) Great product by Wrapsol :D

Why do you say the original is better? Is it clearer? less thick? smoother to the touch?

The matte back not only looks nice but it feels much better in the hand. I must also note that the side pieces are also matte, I had no idea. That's a good thing though because it feels even better on the hand. It's also much less thinner so I can actually use it with my bumper and be able to push the buttons. The front cover has a little more noticeable orange peel look than the ultra, but it doesn't feel like it at all and it feels quite nice. I'm really happy with the original I'm glad I switched from the ultra (It was way too thick and felt awful in the hand).

I didn't install my Original's side pieces, and I didn't know they were matte.

Can you take a picture? I'm curious as to how the phone looks with matte sides before I try it.

Lastly, you say the matte side pieces are thinner than the Ultra's, so it's easier for the phone with the Original's side pieces to fit in a Bumper?

I have the bumper on with the wrapsol sides installed so it does work.

If you look at the area where the headphone jack is, is the rubber section on the bumper stretched out there? When I installed mine with the sides, even with squishing down the bumper, it was stretched there and the hole was very oval. Perhaps there are some differences with each bumper, mine is black just purchased last week instore and fit very snug on the naked iPhone.

so I'm thinking about getting wrapsol, but I can't decide if I want original + bumper or just go with the ultra....

I think I like the idea of the matte backing, but I also like being able to keep the naked look, but I would worry about the protection if I got the original and no bumper... :(

Honestly, the Matte looks nice (IMO) but the Ultra definitely has more protection.

Going to have to make the decision one way or another.

Could you install the matte ontop of the ultra or vice versa to get the look of the matte with the ultra protection ? Just an idea...lol

is anyone else having issues with the film on the back causing problems with the flash? Anytime I take a picture with flash the picture turns out with a blue tint in the middle...

Yes, i have the ultra and have the same issue. I ordered mine on ip4 launch weekend and got it the next week, so this is one of the first batches. I'd like to know also if anyone is having these same issues. I'm waiting for my replacement (due to another issue) to see if maybe it's the way that it's cut.

I know exactly what you are talking about. On my Ultra with just the front and back, the bumper headphone jack is sort of ovalish. Plus the volume buttons don't seem to be pressing hard against the actual buttons on the phone causing them to rattle.

Yeah with the Ultra I couldn't even use the bumper because there was absolutely no tactility with the buttons. I really like the original more and more. I'll take some pictures in a few minutes gotta do some stuff right now :)

Hmm... Well thanks for the help. I'm leaning more and more towards the original. What kind of protection would that give without a bumper?

But I think i'm waiting at the moment to a)see a bumper in person and b)see if an ultra with matte option appears.

ummm..... well without ever seeing a wrapsol in person I would have to say that a) that would probably make it ridiculously thick and b) you would have to stick the matte on the ultra, not vice versa because it would stick better and the best thing about the matt is the grip!

EDIT: Oh and question for everyone. has the original wrapsol (not ultra) been enough to solve reception issues?

well i have posted many times in this thread.. and after my second replacement coming without flaws and installing it.. i wasn't too disappointed but i knew i wasn't satisfied with the looks of it.. so i ordered an SGP ultra clear and well

to all of you who are looking for the clearest look and hoping to see the screen as good as if it didn't have anything on it.. let me tell you sgp is AMAZING.. truly like there is nothing there..

wrapsol was also a fingerprint magnet while the sgp tends to not want to show fingerprints unless my fingers are really greasy..

wrapsol is indeed thicker and might protect your phone more if you don't use a case or a bumper, but if you are using something to protect at least a bit of the screen if you put your phone face down sgp is the way to go..

but if you're using ONLY wrapsol and you're hoping to protect it if it falls this phone will shatter for sure.. the odds may be slightly better that it may not get totally scratched but imho i would not suggest wrapsol to anyone.. specially after looking at sgp.. and a lot of people are saying that power support is even better.. hard to imagine..

installation was much harder but if you take your time and are willing to lift adjust and repeat in a very lint free area the end result is well worth it...

i couldn't be happier with my new screen protector :D

I think I'm done with Wrapsol. I'm going to request a refund tomorrow. I got my replacement and reluctantly installed it yesterday even though it still looked scratched and there were 2 freaking HAIRS stuck on the protector. After the install it looks like all but one scratch was on the backing, but still one too many. The sides are greatly improved from the first batch, but the front and back still just look like crap. I used the steamy bathroom method. Oh and the back film still screws up the flash. I thought I had my film a little too close to the flash on my first install, but with the replacement it is dead center and still gives me a bright blue in the center of the picture. Think I'm going to SGP or PS.

Hey yellowfrog I received my replacement at the beginning of last week and although it's a huge improvement from the first, the film looks like it still has little nicks in it. Sort of like micro bubbles but embedded in the film. I was wondering if I can exchange for the original since it would be impossible to see the film imperfections due to being matte? Thanks.

No flash issue? O RLY?

Flash and camera are DEAD CENTER in the center of their respective cut outs. Have you not seen many of the cases with flash issues? They are no obstructing the flash but they still cause pictures to look this way.

As for the hair it was this way out of the damn box and I've tried to wash it off. No one in my house has curly pube looking hair either. It amazes me that you send out loads of crap product and now claim your company is being abused. Many of us have stuck with Wrapsol admiring your customer service and giving you a chance to make things right. You send out films with scratches and ink transfer on them and side films that look like they were cut out by right-handed 6 year olds with left-handed scissors and you now think a few pubes and a flash issue is ludicrous. I have no problem sending this piece of junk back but you should pay for shipping. I've had the iPhone 4 for over two weeks now and I've been sitting around waiting on your company to rectify an issue when I could've taken my happy ass to SGP or BSE and had a great looking skin 2 weeks ago.

You have a message board topic with 1000 replies with half of them talking about how your product looks like dog's nuts. You have a few pages of recent replies with people happy about your replacement and the issues are seemingly forgotten. Amazing...

Everything I've received from them has been fine, and if it wasn't, they gladly accommodated me.

It's not easy to run a company that sells protectors especially at the launch of a new device.

My first skin was a mess, all sort of markings on it. The replacement they sent me was 110% okay for me. No issues at all. They made it right by me!!!

I'm going to try to clean it really well with water and dish soap and try to remove the hairs. I tried first go around but was a little pissed and gave up. I have to say that if I can get the thing installed without the blemishes I'll be very happy with it. The overall material quality feels really good, I'm just a little bummed because this is my second and I'm still having small issues when I know if they were ironed out this thing would be perfect. I may do as described above and try out the original. I think the original would clear up the flash issue due to the thinner material also.
