This game is fun but frustrating at the same time. It's hard to get started because there is no true way of knowing who is who and therefore it is just a blind vote. I wonder how they did it back in the day. Most likely someone didn't like someone and they started a rumor...

SilentPanda's skin color can't be natural. I'm thinking he ate a ninja turtle or something while on one of his werwolvs binges.

In that case, using the random number generator is pretty much a no-vote.

It worked out well enough in the new simple game.

It got the ball rolling at least as people weren't afraid to post first and thus be targeted by the mob.

I disagree with that; I think it is a good way to get the ball rolling.

By posting a vote for someone in any way, random.org or otherwise, it gets the conversation started. We have to start somewhere, and this has proven in the past to be a decent way to do it.

I just mean if all 20 of us pick a random number from 1-20 the odds of 11 people getting the same random number in which a majority would be reached is pretty much non-existent. Hence it being a no-vote. Of course that implies everybody uses the random number generator.

This is my thinking as well.

I will vote for chrmjenkins, his number was the first number generated by random.org.

I like the random.org route. Without it, someone would be the first person to randomly vote and would be suspicious. And someone shouldn't get killed because he is trying to get the game going. With random voting it gets people talking and what not.

Stonyc is what random.org told me. It feels like I'm picking on him, though because I voted for him in the simple game, too. No hard feelings?

I am voting for SilentPanda why because he is not voting. If he is a wolf he is hiding from us. If is a villager he needs to try to lead us.

I'm not against people voting for me (except the whole "I'm a villager" bit)... the whole thing is a crapshoot especially at this point... heck my first few votes last game were pure junk reasons.

I'm just joking around. I thought my vote had humor in it. Guess it didn't stick. There isn't a logical method to voting the first round, it's a crap shoot.
