Another ethics question: If the seer figured out who the werewolves were and began revealing the identities of the villagers to them, would you feel the same way?
Also, the panda head on a stick thing, is it an allusion to something I should know?
Have we decided what we are going to do to KMM, are we going to trust him?

Dearest Doctor Q,
I humbly request henceforth that the forum rules be amended to perma-ban all werewolves. You won't deny a dying panda's last request will you?

Thanks!

I'm going to have to vote for King Mook Mook too. It's too risky while the wolves can still infect you to keep you around.
Sigh, thanks for your help with catching one badie.

I know I already have my dead post, but I feel I need to get some clarification here, since you seem to be discussing rules changes during the game. Are you guys actually talking about someone getting infected and then working for the villagers? Or people not playing their role? That would ruin this game, IMO. The thing is, no matter whether you guys want to discuss ethics or whatever, in actuality, the person infected no longer has a villager self….they’re a WW. A WW wouldn’t do something against the WW’s. If you are actually discussing otherwise, we’ll need to certainly visit this for the new rules.

It can be discussed later, but there seem to be many people who disagree with you.

I also hereby submit that the rule name be changed to "jav's rule which aggie cannot seem to follow" ;)

Edit:

As for voting, while I agree that having KMM around with the possibility of him being infected, I don't know if lynching him right away is the best policy.

This would be villager to werewolf, not villager to villager. I think that it would be an "interesting dynamic" The seer isn't eaten by Werewolves, and isn't lynched because of their power.

That is implied, though. I'll re-word the rule to make it clearer. Villagers can not PM anyone regarding the game, other than the host. Period.

the seer can openly say whatever s/he wants. s/he cannot PM anything to anyone, unless s/he has been turned, in which case s/he is a WW to all effects, including PMing. A seer that openly plays against the village is playing against his of her 'teammates'. why would he/she do that?

speaking of seers:
so, who did you scan King Mook Mook? what was the result?

King Mook Mook, as stated above: can't risk your powers being used against us. There are still some important Villagers out here to protect.

I'm afraid that you revealed yourself a little too early and while you exposed a Goth, there is still one more out there. While I appreciate your sacrifice, I wish it would have been a furrier revealing.

He is compromised and his answer may well be compromised as well. Take it with a grain of salt.

King Mook Mook... tbh I haven't following much of this game, so my otherwise flawless strategy may be a tad askew.

maybe or maybe not.
we don't know for certain that he is infected, the information might or might not be tainted, and we'll keep this possibility in mind, but it is still information.

edit: (didn't want to triple post) there is also the possibility that a) the hunter protected KMM so the WW wasted the infection. b) the WW decided to not waste the infection on a doomed villager and did not infect him at all.
these aspect might be revealed later on in the game, so even if KMM infos cannot be taken at face value now, they can still result useful for the villagers

apparently His Majesty retired to His quarters and refuses to interact with His subjects, which might well be His way to be true to His word till the bitter end.

maybe we should quickly set up a guillotine for once? :D

I think King Mook Mook's silence speaks volumes.

Either way, he is both an immense asset and a huge danger.

agree that the silence is troubling.
I wouldn't have thought that the wolves would have used the infection on KMM, because it would be a waste, given the high chance of him being the next lynchee.
All they gain is one scan, but they effectively lose one wolf.
it's not a good deal for them, so why do they do it? (unless they are counting on this very line of reasoning).

another puzzling thing is why they offed panda. as one of the 'suspects' it would be good for them to keep him around.

I am guessing they took out Silent Panda in a foolish mistake. That said, I believe now that the wolves are being lead on by a new user to the wolf side.

A good wolf player would know that your best bet to throw suspicion of you is take out the least suspects and leave the most furness possibilities alive.

unless they thought that he was indeed the other goth/vamp and they went to eliminate their archenemies first (which would be good for them).
if that is true, and the vamps didn't get activated last night, it would mean no vamps at all this game.
i doubt it, though
