Low voting and participation really could be because of the weekend.

Definitely makes it hard to get a read on people, especially this early in the game. I was waiting to see how the rest of the votes shook out, but I guess I'll go with Intell.

And just why - apart from the suspicions that everyone else has - are you going with Intell at the very last minute? Almost the very last minute?

Now, Intell is looking more suspicious by the minute, but I suspect that a discreet distancing exercise is now in play as some of his furry colleagues will need to be seen to have voted for him, too, so as to give themselves an more plausible alibi.

If he is the kami I would expect someone else - appropriately chosen - to be taken out prior to the formal execution/lynching. Otherwise, it is a waste of a powerful weapon, and I can't see any reason for that.

Meanwhile, the situation of the mass missing members and participants makes me most curious.

And I don't get why even the most basic defence has not been proffered, or put forward.

I think we get the best info from finding out if he's a good guy or a bad guy. We don't have much else to go on and we have to work with what we have. I was wondering if anyone else would shake out before the deadline but nobody did.

Wow. As an example - a classic example - of misdirection, and setting up a strawman target, that was stunning. And infuriating.

Although I didn't vote for him, I was pretty sure that there was a good chance that Intell was a 'wolk', and his choice not to attempt even the most cursory defence added to that. Suicide every bit as much as lynching, or execution, is what this could be classed as.

Great narrative, twietee, and every well done.

And I'll express myself underwhelmed by those who are coasting, among whose ranks I suspect we'll find some furries.

He was getting less and less suspicious, but he could gave tried to help himself ( and the village) at the minimum.

I don't know if the wolfies are in the MIA bunch, heck maybe none of them are, but low participation only helps them. A lot.

To re-cap, Intell, Koodauw and Astroboy (in reverse order) have been slaughtered by day, while chrmjenkins and WoodNUFC have been assassinated by night.

We still have a kami wolf, an alpha, another, and - most likely - an infection. We have lost almost a third of our numbers - and gained little but information - while the wolves may still have a few cards to play.

Therefore, I am of the view that it may be coming close to the time where we may have to start thinking about pooling - or making available - some of the acquired or accumulated information thus far.

That he was the soother himself was the first and most obvious option. However he had plenty of time to tell us that, but he did not. Same with nw. In fact he denied both when there was no reason at all to do that. It got himself killed and we wasted a day(night).

However, I am amazed that, rather than admit to owning and using a power, and having used it in such a manner, that he preferred to go the the gallows, depriving the village of a vote, and a possible power. That is - at best - grossly irresponsible.

This is exactly why bandwagoning never helps... obviously low participation also does no good for us either. What is infuriating is that Intell had no real defense and then went off radar. As

We've had our differences in the past in this game, but you are correctomundo... as I've said, semi-participation players should offer an explanation, or else specials: scan people and tell us. The village seriously hurts when specials have a power and keep it to themselves. Stand up, be a player, and if you get fried in a light batter and barbecued, at least you've given a direction to go and proven your input is correct. Dropping broad hints but lacking the chutzpa to stand up just makes things more suspicious.

@Tomorrow I'm wondering what my 'early voting' indicates; I for one think my timely and comedic posts help lighten the mood. ...I also bring lots of single malt to the table. Plus, I don't waffle around. If anything I pancake my votes.

It is; I'll be honest - the low participation really - and increasingly - annoys me.

And, in my experience, it is a very good and pretty effective wolfish and wolkish tactic.
