Yea, I saw woodnufcs claim too, but was a) a bit mad :)D) and b) hoping that we probably don't have to put that into the wide open right now until ravenvii is tried again. Honestly, he's the common denominator. You don't lynch Sythas and woodnufc first to check if they or only one of them wanted to save ravenvii. Still don't understand why you and SilentPanda put so much emphasis on him instead of ravenvii.
Possibly a mistake by me - but I kinda assumed anyone reading WoodNUFC's post would read it as him claiming to be the vulture and I'd rather him prove it before forcing a possible unrevealed special to reveal their role.

Ain't nobody made him state he knows who the vulture is. I only stated the facts as I saw them.

I know, I'd accuse Fenris first if that eases your mind. :D
And yes, I think it wasn't necessary for woodnufc to suggest it (if he really is the Vulture). Maybe we're really lucky though. Doubt it but it's not impossible of course. Fingers crossed. :)

That or because you and/or Fenris would like to gather some more info about your next viable target. Catching the vulture would be a welcome and unexpected prey...;)
Ok - so now your saying me and Panda are traitors along with ravenvii, Sythas and possibly WoodNUFC? We can't all be, can we? Maybe we should have tried the lord rather than the knight at arms yesterday.

No, I wasn't actually. But of course we have more suspects than Traitors?!

Edit:

You forgot to mention the possibility of him being the Silent Sister

Not possible for the Silent Sister to know the role of someone whilst still alive.

We currently have 17 possible traitors among us, so a majority of 9 will send a neck to the choppinh block.

But the Vulture could be dead. Not likely that DP didn't protect himself the first night but still possible.
With the possibility of killing themselves if they guarded a traitor I think its very unlikely the vulture didn't protect themselves the first night, especially if it was DP since he's often an early target.

Could've missed a deadline or whatever - it's unlikely but not impossible. Like a baddie voting last minute. ;)

Anyway, this discussion isn't really helping. Let's wait for woodNUFC.

Let's wait for more people even! It's just us 3 chattin back and forth... for a game with 17 people left, it sure is quiet.

Also, DP wasn't killed early last game, could have gambled now to 'save' it for the second day. Just sayin'.

Agreed. Good point Panda. :D

You know for a fact Pluto isn't the vulture. Only a few ways I can come up with you know that.

1. Your the Master of Whispers and you scanned him first night. In which case why would you vote for someone you know to be loyal over an unknown. So I think that's pretty unlikely.

2. Your a handmaiden and Pluto was the other handmaiden. Again very unlikely you'd have killed the other handmaiden.

2. Your the vulture. In which case you've already outed yourself so let us know who you guarded first night so the Faceless Man can tell us if your lying.

3. Your a traitor and your lying but you know the vulture is dead because he died instead of your target one night (i.e. vulture was DP or Tomorrow and they tried to protect a traitor) so claiming to be the vulture is a way of staying safe.

Thanks everyone for you patience on hearing from me.

Here's the thing about my willingness to confirm my role. If I am the Vulture and I were to list the players I have protected, you wouldn't believe me without the faceless man coming out to verify. So not only would I be confirming my role, but I'd be outing at least two other loyalist. That would make it incredibly easy for the traitors. Right now, we are only facing losing one loyalist, me. I'd rather contain any potential damage to myself than risk targeting a number of others.

moyank

way too quiet, both you and koodauw are flying under the radar and not posting like in past games.

moyank due to the votes to pluto.

and this being a friday, don't think we will hear much from both for the next couple days.

I just haven't posted much since I got nothing. To many people and to many possibilities in this game, I think I prefer the simple ones.

Plus I like to switch up my style of play, keep people guessing. Sort of like JAV does. She's super awesome at it.

I am still a bit 'rabbit in the headlights' so i apologise for not adding my suspicions.

I am taking in the reasoning, but it does not easily make sense yet.

You should say who you protected nevertheless in my opinion. The Faceless Man can still decide for him-/herself if it's wise or necessary to out him-/herself.

Edit: I'm still in favor of going after ravenvii before voting for woodNUFC first though (if that's what you're suggesting).

I'm now ready to start getting us some traitors....

@rick - As I said in the first game, I'm not playing "under the radar" - I just don't have as much time online as I used to. Kiddos are getting busier and busier!

It's also hard to sift through all of the dialogue in one sitting! Koodauw used to have a habit of taking out all of the vets at the beginning of the game - which makes me lean towards him. But there's just so many guys/gals I haven't played with in forever it's hard to take anything from the voting/kills this soon in the game.

I am going to follow the more exp players on this one. Its sounding like a fav for being a traitor is ravenvii, so ill help round up the dog and string him up!

I've been lurking alot but haven't felt the need to post much. Frustratingly I've been on nights over the weekend so I'm much closer to most of your timezones but the posting activity is always slow over the weekend.

As far as theories go we really have very little to work on at the moment and I tend to find that speaking up tends to get your more attention and more votes and this game I've resolved to play for longer and actually be useful. In the past I've been lynched a couple of times after people have mistaken talkativeness for have something to hide although it really seems that you are damned if you do or don't.

Currently I'm suspicious of people who are trying to lead bandwagons. Isolated single votes for individuals seem benign but people leading campaigns to lynch certain individuals when we have no useful info to go on always worry me. For that reason, those leading the cries to hang Ravenii trouble me.

Given no other information, what else can we go on but the theories we've posted prior? Do you have another theory you'd like to offer up? Currently all signs point to ravenvii IMO, but they're extremely weak signs... unfortunately though, I don't see any other information.

I'll likely end up voting for ravenvii but just voted for you because you were the person with the least posts in the thread that I hadn't played with before.

The problem with all the theories here is that they are based on no facts whatsoever. Am also a little confused by the rules of the game, I've literally just read through all the roles and am none the wiser.

At any rate, we have one character who so far claimed some knowledge, which makes them either the Master of Whispers or the Faceless man. We obviously still have handmaidens as we're being told roles still and no one has claimed any kind of Silent Sister type knowledge.

To my mind claiming to have a role at this stage seems foolish, you're generally only a scan away from being discovered and you make yourself a target for traitors. It draws attention to yourself and makes me suspicious. Similarly people appear to have gone after Ravenii for the worst of reasons, specifically attacking their use of pigeon French as an excuse. As I said before people who try to add early momentum to anyone gaining popularity in a lynching pile is some I suspect - joining in late tends to attract too much attention .

I'd have to go back and look at some of the vote ordering posts to be more specific but to my mind the ufc chap is still suspicious.

Weak? More like arbitrary. Someone didn't like that I was speaking French, so voted for me. Others followed, and a bandwagon formed.

That's literally all there was to it. It's a fact that I'm not a traitor. I am very confident that I am one of the first people to be scanned by the Master of Whisperers. If I am a traitor, he/she should come out and say so, then I'd be lynched, and there'll only be 1 more traitor left (well, 2 if the Bought Man was, uh, bought).

That's not to say the Master of Whisperers isn't already dead, wouldn't they have shown up as a traitor if lynched?
