Given that no one has any solid evidence to go on, certainly none that has been presented, I think a quote that appears to suggest SS is dodgy is about the most damning evidence we have of anything.

I shan't bother spending a long time defending myself. As a humble peon I have no special powers to offer the group aside from my insight and my votes. However, should I end up the victim of a bandwagon I would ask that all those that voted for me be looked at with extra scrutiny.

Given that SS is being supported here we have a couple of scenarios: that they are genuinely special and other specials are coming to their aid OR they have been turned by the traitors who are now keen to protect them after losing one of their number so early on.

Yeah agreed it sounds like her which is what makes it a nice subtle hint. It was the 'almost worth dying for' at the end which made me suspicious. It would be an almost perfect subtle hint if she was the Red Man. Certainly enough for me to target her if I was a traitor.

Agreed, it wasn't a pointless diatribe and I would be sorry to lose your wonderful posts if I am right. If only you'd not added 'almost worth dying for' to raise suspicions, although it was still in context so maybe I'm being too analytical. I've been watching for hints from the Red Man since the start.

I think at least Scepticalscribe would see that I am no traitor - I think she sums up the actions of a green player as I.

But If I am going out, I shall make my vote at least count somewhere.....

For the first time in my life I am about to join a bandwagon.

Costabunny; at this stage, to be honest, I don't care much whether you are innocent or not, I just want to put an end to these faux-clueless posts.

Nonetheless, having suggested - three times now - that it might not be a good idea to do away with me, I find it instructive that my post, lauding the merits of rare vintages of red wine (luscious, rich, alcoholic an eminently quaffable) are offered as evidence against, while those who participate little and post less are left unscrutinised.

However, I do think that the very thin excuses put forward by FenrisMoonlight (squire in the service of, etc. etc.) to vote for me, and indeed, JimN, (another whom I want to suggest that we take a closer look at) are worth looking at. Costabunny - at this stage - your witless clambering aboard every travelling bandwagon no longer arouses my pity.

I agree its thin and I'll be the first to apologize and share a glass of red if its wrong but its all I've got at the moment. Last nights failure to kill was either the Vulture protecting someone (but the Vulture isn't telling us who they protected) so nothing more to go on there or it was the traitors finding the Red Man. If it was the traitors finding the Red Man it could have been luck or it could have been them picking up on a hint given out. Yours is the only post during the last day that appears in any way to hint towards being the Red Man.

Yeah, its tenuous and makes some assumptions but I can't make anything useful out of voting patterns or anything else atm. None of our specials have made a definite appearance, although we have numerous claims that's all they are without any backup.
 
I always like to give at least 12 hours deadline notice, which would put it around midnight for me. Since I won't be getting to it then, I'll just go ahead and make it 8 AM PDT tomorrow.

Your getting precariously close to majority lock. If you have anything left to say or do that could save your skin now's the time IMO.

I really wish I knew what to say to prove my innocence, but I don't (I still don't really get this game to be honest) - but I am doing my best to be useful at least.

How about I offer cupcakes all round? ;)

not sure thats the best way to prove I am a nice character, but its what I got :)

it's been fun thus far - perhaps by the end of this game I will have figured out who is naughty. Shame wasting votes on me will not help my learning in that regard. Perhaps if we hang a traitor instead, it might help me figure out the clues a bit?
