Sorry, misread your post (missed the could NOT be used on two different days). So yea, I agree to that / that's what I wrote. Clarification would be nice though. Especially if it would mean it must happen within the same PM / post. That's not how I read the rule either though.

To your second paragraph: agreed, that's why I said the Hunter/Necromancer should probably out themselves before s/he uses the ability so it could eventually be amplified. Of course only out yourself when absolute sure to use it - regardless of amplification.

"It is not a bite!" Plutonius wailed. "Just a scratch. See? No teeth marks" He was pointing emphatically at the abrasion on his ribs.

"You know, you're probably right," ucfgrad93 mused. "It probably is just a scratch."

Plutonius let out an audible sigh of relief.

"But...how do we know this... this sickness isn't like any other normal infection? You know, any open wound?" twietee asked with a tremor in his voice.

ucfgrad93 frowned. "Ah yes, there is that, of course." He walked slowly up to Plutonius, within a few inches of his face, slowly poring over the features of his face. "Your eyes do look rather clouded."

"Wh...wh...what? NO!" Plutonius stumbled over to the polished metal surface of one of the tanks. He forced his eyes wide with his fingers and looked to the extremes of his vision, wanting to see everyone extreme of his eyes.

He lunged at ucfgrad93's waist, grabbing his gun and deftly rolling away.

He stood and pointed it at the other group members, his face twisted in a grimace. The rest of the party members drew their guns.

ravenvii spoke first. "Think about this man, there's no good way out of this."

"Just put the gun down, we can tie you up and observe you. That's the best chance we can give you and it's fair to us. We need to see what the hell this thing is." appleguy123 was calm and measured in his words.

This started a nodding of heads and ayes around the room. Even ucfgrad93 seemed to be on board with the plan.

Plutonius wheeled the gun toward ravenvii. "I agree with you. There is no good way out of this." He turned the gun on himself.

It is now NIGHT 2 and Plutonius, a bad guy, has died.


DAY 3 post coming next...
 
Don't Panic followed the sounds of soft sobbing around the corner to find Moyank24 weakly weeping while the head of Queen of Spades lay peacefully in her lap.

There was a gunshot wound to her abdomen, and the pool of blood had long since settled and looked sticky in the harsh fluorescent lighting.

Moyank24 continued looking at Queen of Spades when she began speaking to him. He was sure she hadn't even heard him approach.

"She was my friend" Moyank24 said coldly. "He did it."

Don't Panic knew who she meant. He whispered "You don't know that for sure."

"Oh, I do," her voice growing into a growl. "And I'm gonna kill him."

It is now DAY 3 and villager Queen of Spades has died in the night. Majority is 6 and voting deadline is 8 AM PST 7/9, 3 PM GMT.
 
Well if the hunter would like to use their power on the list of three, I am all for it. Or if the hunter is one of the three, it would make even more sense.

Otherwise I suggest we pick from the list of 3.
 
that's not good.
i was hoping she'd get at least one more day.

too bad the guard couldn't protect her.

there are a few more likely possibilities:
* guard is dead (tomorrow/techgod)
* guard already protected QoS yesterday
* guard gambled the wolves wouldn't attack QoS thinking she would be protected
* one of the wolf is the maniac and they double-attack QoS (i would have done this if i where a wolf).

meanwhile I have been in shock watching germany annihilate brazil :eek::eek::eek:

i am on board with the hunter (if we have one) going for one of the 3.
i am leaning on voting for Scepticalscribe, but i don't want to rush things too much so i'll hold on for a bit
 
Well, crazy stuff going on in Brazil. I quite enjoy it. :D

To make things a wee bit easier for the hunter: general pool here, nothing groundbreaking but could come in handy for the Seer in case QoS gets indeed revived. So maybe wait a bit before pulling a trigger on me.
 
Good for us the Brazilians will blame entirely Colombia for that. Zuniga beware!
 
I am going to be incommunicado for most - actually all - of tomorrow as I will be flying across continents. For once, I have had about enough of political matters and badly need what will prove to be an all too brief break before returning here in a little over a week's time.

That football match is bizarre beyond belief. However, I find it hard to grieve overmuch for Brazil; their narrative of being the Sole Guardians of the Beautiful Game have been bereft of truth for a few decades now, and they played nastily enough in the Quarter Finals to merit defeat now. Besides, I suspect that there has been something of a subliminal sense of entitlement among the Brazil team simply because the tournament has been played in South America.

Okay. In this world, one can be quiet for a number of reasons; for my part, I have been exceptionally busy, but I have also preferred not to try to draw too much attention to myself.

This is because I am the Guard. Night one, I protected DP; Night two, I protected QoS.

In any case, I doubt I'll be around for very much longer.
