QoS, please hear me out, in my very first game I was a Seer too and luckily scanned Moyank as the Alpha at the very first night (Jav shot her btw). I was quite thrilled (understatement actually) but read too much into her conversations that Melrose finally red-flagged me because I got that suspicous of him. Anyway...good ol' times... :D

I still see your connection with Plutonius. It doesn't vanish. Trust me, you're next on the list for Day 3. What I questioned QoS was how she knows whole heartedly that Moyank is an innocent girl... well, not that innocent if you catch my drift... *hint, hint* I still have my doubts about Moyank, but I'll trust QoS's drift with this.

As per my late vote, yes, it comes late, but given that real life is such fun when there is a fair in town.... well, you get the gist.
 
I see. Sure I'm on the list - as should be ss and mo - guess you guys have to decide for yourself how likely it is for the Alpha (and me in that scenario) to play that obvious when I already got 'outed' by the Oracle.

I get the whole Occam's Razor thing, getting pretty paranoid myself sometimes, but when I played with QoS (and Koodauw) as WW before and got voted for early in the game - and I usually got lynched at least the second round, some may remember, I always thought support a bad idea at least the way it would have been played this time with Pluto.

What's with ravenvii? Still on 4/4 :)
 
Still wouldn't advise the guard to interfere with Pluto's lynching because there is (possible infection not included) a 50/50 chance that the ww among us three is the Kazi. If you trust me we can play this minimal invasive. :) Heck, if you don't, someone could eventually even double the insta-kill and kill us both (assuming one got scanned a villager at night and those powers are (still) in play).

Question to chrmjenkins: if the hunter's ability gets amplified, does s/he have to announce his/her targets in one post/PM or can it be done seperately during the same day? So basically waiting for the outcome of the first one before announcing the second?
 
ok, i now had time to look back at the thread.

first things first: Plutonius has reached majority lock (7 votes) by some time (with rick's vote, #171). Barring any behind-the-scenes action that had modified the votes, he is dead.

tally:

plutonius: 9 (QoS, twietee, koodauw, sythas, moyank, dontpanic, ricjsnagwell) + (scepticalscribe, jav, voted after the majority was locked)

queenof spades: 2 (UCFgrad, plutonius)
ravenvii:1 (appleguy)

not voted: 1 ravenvii

so, although SS and jav's votes might not count, given the special vote-altering powers, it is not a bad idea to kill a dead horse. just in case ;)

I am sorry to see pluto go as a player, but if he is the alpha, then see you next game, buddy :)
we shouldn't discount the possibility he already used the infection on night one, if he thought he could be scanned/voted off on day 2.
QoS had little incentive to lie, as she was not in immediate danger (had 2 votes to twietee's 4, although things can change fast), and it would be obvious if she did if pluto dies an innocent. plus of course the real seer would already know. seems a remote possibility as of now.

if QoS is right, hopefully the guard can protect her one night to get a second scan. if so, i urge you NOT to scan one of the "oracle 4" (or 3, excluding QoS), since that is already a small group where to look for a baddie. instead, it would be (in my opinion) more useful to probe anyone outside them, for which there is little infos.
and if she is killed by wolves, she can still be revived by the necromancer (if s/he is in play this game) for an extra scan down the line
 
Sorry guys moving today and didn't have time I thought I would for full narrative post (will post later). Pluto was a bad guy and is dead. Go ahead and send night PMs and I'll do both narratives together.

maybe it was a bit early to come out, but with the infection at night only, i think it was the right call.
it is not sure it has been avoided, but there is a good chance.

as said before, between the guard and the necromancer 9if there is one), you might get another scan or two

good luck with the move chris/abbie, i did one recently and it's a real pain, especially if you have been in a place for a while (and kids! they have so much crap :D)).

there are only 2 of them left (well, up to 4 potentially)

time for my nightly list (very basic one)
12 players remaining, plus me (not in the list):

scepticalscribe, moyank, twietee (at least one Zombie)
ravenvii, ucfgrad, appleguy, sythas, ricksnagwell, jav (probably one zombie)
koodauw (not cleared, but less likely a Z)
QueenofSpades (almost certainly cleared)

if QoS is the seer, she cannot been one of the original Z, but she could -in theory- have been infected on night 1 and decided with plutonius a very complex strategy. or she could pretend to be the seer (but the real seer would know). both possibilities are very very far fetched, at least at this point.

going on, the best strategy would seem to go after one of the "oracle 3"

oh, i don't think she did, i was just explaining why she is not 100% cleared, since -technically- there are a couple of very unlikely scenarios where she is a baddie.

but i agree that at the moment she is the only one who can be trusted with a degree of certainty

For QoS and Plutonius using that strategy, they should have been both in the oracle question. Without that it's far too risky, since if we don't find any wolf between the rest...

Definitely the Monday after a holiday weekend. Coming back to work after 2 days off is the worstest! :D

And it's pretty ironic that everyone always assume we are working together when in reality the only time we really ever were, one of us was a bad guy and the other was a good guy.
