I'm not Intell though roflol!
i know. he posted earlier in the thread.
plus the "edit" timestamp is different.
I'm not Intell though roflol!
pretty risky vote then...For QoS and Plutonius using that strategy, they should have been both in the oracle question. Without that it's far too risky, since if we don't find any wolf between the rest...
Nope, first day vote mean almost nothing...
as i said, very far-fetched. not worth to waste more time on it for now, until there are no Zs in the 'oracle 3' and/or QoS survives more than 2-3 daysFor QoS and Plutonius using that strategy, they should have been both in the oracle question. Definitely the Monday after a holiday weekend. Coming back to work after 2 days off is the worstest!
And it's pretty ironic that everyone always assume we are working together when in reality the only time we really ever were, one of us was a bad guy and the other was a good guy.
its night time and nothing to say?
its night time and nothing to say?
true. but thanks to QoS, we just bagged the Alpha and possibly avoided infection, plus we have a short shortlist for another zombiewolfie.
usually this ensures some activity.
No kidding. I guess they're just afraid of the potential power that scenario could contain.![]()
Sweet dreams?!
hungover
i'll drink to that
Sometimes, it is better to say nothing. This need not always mean that one has nothing to say...
Well, I rather suspect that most of you chaps & chapesses are wrecked after the July 4 week-end; my fatigue comes from a week end of a different sort.
Well, as a feminist myself, I'm something of a big fan of demonstrations of 'girl power' so, yes, I rather imagine that there might be an element of fear in some ..quarters...
If I get to remember them ..
Over-worked ..but would happily handle your complaint ...
Not for me for another night or two, alas .
eh.
my work trips usually involve MORE drinking, not less![]()
As do mine. However, these days, I am abroad for months at a a time, and moreover, morning briefings (delivered by me) usually require a relatively clear head along with reasonable powers of recall.
Just now, matters here have become rather 'interesting', as in that Chinese saying - the one I could never decide whether it was curse of blessing:"May you live in interesting times."
I like how you use Serif instead of the forum default. I like fonts designs.![]()

LOL i absolutely detest Times new Roman. I find it ugly, clumsy, and tiring to read. Way too cluttered and busy. Plus the bold is not bery different from the regular text (i would miss your votes if i did 't "look" for them in your postsI love font design, and I cannot begin to comprehend why Arial has been chosen as the default font almost everywhere. Perhaps it is a sort of complacent laziness, in that this is the first major font which appears alphabetically, and it is easier to use than discard and replace, but I still detest it, and, more to the point, as it is so narrow a font, I actually find it incredibly difficult to read on the page.
For documents, I actually prefer Garamond, a lovely, easily comprehensible font, classic and elegant with the added bonus of extraordinary legibility. However, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to translate well to a computer screen, so, for communication here, for the most part, I stick to the old classic reliable, Times New Roman, which both looks good and is legible to others as well as myself.
I used the plural in an attempt to write in proper english, but i have been known to be wrong before.Any reason as to why you use the plural? We should widen our scope again as soon as a ZW is found withtin the Oracle3 me thinks.
Also, guess it got lost yesterday, but I'd like chrmjenkins to please clarify re: possible amplfication of the insta-kill. Rules say: "Amplifier - This player can enhance the potency of one other player's action for a day or night-time period. (Active, One-time use, Anytime, Private)"
So I guess one could insta-kill once, wait for the outcome and a second time later during the day. Correct? Thanks!
In any case, I'd like the hunter to give some sort of notice beforehand.

I personally find the counters too heavy in Times. It's legible, true, but lacks grace, at least in my eyes. I'm sure you know why Arial wound up as the default - it shares kerning and spacing with Helvetica, for which Microsoft didn't want to pay to license. Garamond is one of my faverites too. There's a free font called Day Roman that I love, but it's not available in anything but roman.
I won't clog the thread after this. Sorry.![]()
But s/he couldn't save the second shot for another day.
But maybe chris can clarify if his implementation is the same here
Well, that's not the way I would interpret it so clarification would be mighty useful.
What do you think about insta-killing (regardless whether amplified or not) the next day, after QoS gave some more intel, though? We will potentially never get as close (I most certainly don't) as now to pinpoint a baddie - seer scans excluded - so might as well do it this way and hopefully take out the Kazi (and hence save a villager) by that.
Not sure about the usage of an amplified Hunter myself, since it would work wonders with the necromancer bringing two players back from the dead (would like to see the narrative for that as well - are those good zombies then?). We don't know if those powers are in play so it would be better to out oneself before use the power (insta-kill or revival). Can't see a downside to that right now.
----------
Addendum: the way you interpret the amplified insta-kill would mean the same for the Necromancer, right? We could bring QoS back to live twice while the Necro gets protected the night inbetween? Would be nice!![]()
For someone who hates the oracle and how much it dominates the next few days, you certainly to be all in on killing the people on the list from the oracle's question.
The way i had originally designed the burster/amplifier is that the enhancement of power HAS to occurr witbin the same timeframe, so no the necromancer would not be able to bring back the same person twice, but could (if amplified) bring back two people at the same time. The same way as the hunter would have to use their double shot in the same day.
Also consider the amplifier does not target a power, they target a person
So unless they know who is the hunter or the necromancer, they can't choose what is the effect. They might even amplify a wolf by mistake.
To amplify QoS tonight could have been a smart move, with the risk that if she is killed the result would be lost unless she is brought back by the necromancer
As far as using the instakill on one of the 3, i would do it if i were the hunter, since there would be a good chance of taking out the kami without their extra kill
