Apple has to pick up the pace if it expects to compete with Android.
A bunch of new Android phones coming out. 1ghz snapdragon phones already scream. Now there's a 1.5Ghz on the way.
4.3" screen is awesome on EVO.
New Motorola 4.3" phone coming to Verizon.
New Samsung S 4.3" phone coming to T-Mo, AT&T, possibly Verizon, Sprint.

By what, not charging?
 
finally a product that doesn't grace the shelves of america weeks before anybody else!
 
Does this mean all those that bought the 3GS on release day last year are not able to upgrade with subsidized pricing? My ATT account is marked with "discount pricing available."

Why is this never clear?

Price is good, $199 for 16GB. You actually get more for less with Apple's iPhone.

Its the value leader and cheapest solution. Can you believe thats Apple? But the HTC EVO on Sprint is more functional, more powerful, more capable device.

Accelerometers were based on gyros for quite a while now.
 
Who here thinks FaceTime sounds a lot like Facebook?

Not the greatest name for something to "change the way we communicate forever".

yah, i mis-read it & thought it was up for pre-order tomorrow. :D

Now, time to decide if I stick with 16GB or go with 32GB. Probably 32GB just to be on the safe side. Though I rarely fill up my 16GB 3G, there were times when I did.

That's the problem with Apple's business model. All other companies offer a wide variety of phones with range of screen sizes. Apple, on the other hand, offers just one model - one size fits all (and it really does not).

that's correct..... i'm not eligible til feb 20 2011 and i bought mine on release day last year
