I was looking forward to this like it was Christmas day. If that was it I could've just looked at 2 month old Gizmodo pictures again.

For some reason, gyroscope to me sounds like something a doctor would stick up your rear-end to see if you have colon cancer or not.
For crying out loud Apple, give us new and great Macs. Not just some polished minimalist crippled computers for computer illiterate meterosexuals and fancy and crippled iDevices.

.I have been a mac fan since the 128k. If Apple discontinues the mac, I'd be *PISSED*. And no the ipad is not a replacement for a mac.
But, I love the iphone and I mostly enjoyed learning about the iphone. My one big disappointment was one I was already resigned to listening to some people on here who had pretty good logic why there would not be a 64GB model. But really, especially with the better camera/video and having imovie on there, having more gigs is even more important. Ah well, I suppose I shouldn't really complain too hard. I have only half filled my 16 GB iphone. I still wanted 64 (I like having enough that i really don't think I'll reach the limit. Not sure that will happen with 32GB especially with more stuff you'd use the storage for).
Apple are just supremely brilliant at reselling existing ideas and tech as something which is "new, magical, awesome". I really do admire Jobs for doing that. The RDF really does exist with this one.

All very cool iOS4 and iPhone 4 (and I'm definitely going to buy), but nothing about Macs? I was hoping for (and am waiting for) desktop upgrades.
Incidentally, of the predictions: apart from iPhone/iOS 4, nothing came true.

Naturally, we had no choice but to get use to it. Doesn't mean we still don't like it.

This conference was the absolute worse case scenario that I thought could've happened. And it did.

Very disappointed. This is, AFAIK, the first WWDC ever which wasn't about OS X or Macs at all. I, personally, don't give a **** about the iPhone computers are much more important as work depends on them. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the iPhone will be the death of Apple as we know it (maybe not detrimental to profit, but their essence will be lost). After all, this is MacRumors.

Seriously though. Ye the iphone 4 seems great, but its not a huge leap.
But like the mac pro hasnt been updated for so long, and i think its just shows when jobs even use 5 min talking about mac related stuff. its all about iphones etc.

Great stuff, I think this iPhone 4 is the best thing in the world! I think the gyroscope is a great idea, since I have always felt that the accelerometer lags a tiny bit, making gaming a bit annoying at times. The front facing camera is cool, but I hope it will work with apps, like Skype and others, and not just traditional phone calls. The high-resolution screen is an amazing idea, it's going to rock. I love the design, and I love that there's an all white version, and I love the colourful bumper cases! They add an awesome design to the phone and protect the glass parts without adding bulk or covering the pretty areas. I really think this is a cool thing and I'm 100% happy with it! Not that I'll be able to buy it but still
As for the other rumours, the Magic Trackpad (or whatever the name is) would be an awesome thing to see sometime soon.
