Where are the Mac or Apple TV announcements? Still time for it but if not, watch them do a silent update. :(

I have to admit I was ready to get amazed, but I'm a little disappointed so far because I knew some of the info from the leaks. Still good announcements though.

"This is so much more than a phone. Much more than a product. It's magical. It's surreal. It's your life. It's love. They will be talking about this design of mine in other solar systems. Don't touch it. Never touch it."

Bet they'll happen during the show without any big announcement.
Or it could be after the show without a big announcement.

Or it could be after the show without a big announcement after we have all died because the world blew up.

Who here thinks FaceTime sounds a lot like Facebook?

Not the greatest name for something to "change the way we communicate forever".

Oh gah, the name is horrible, it sounds so cheesy. Actually, the name sounds gross and not professional even. Like a kid named it.

yah, i mis-read it & thought it was up for pre-order tomorrow. :D

Now, time to decide if I stick with 16GB or go with 32GB. Probably 32GB just to be on the safe side. Though I rarely fill up my 16GB 3G, there were times when I did.

I'd go with 32 GBs. I already wanted a 64 (though was convinced that probably wouldn't happen and I guess those people are right) and now even more am disappointed about it not having that (for all the video storage for making videos. The camera and video as well as imovies I think is what excites me the most about the new iphone).

Honestly, while I'm disappointed about no 64Gb model, I'm more excited than I was before. I was just going to wait til all the hub bub died down and then go get mine but I think I might consider pre-ordering now.

Gyroscope would work well for FPS games though, no? Just move the phone to look around within the game...

Only Steve Jobs could have his head so far up his own arse to think that 2 hours about a phone is a great speech to give at a Developers Conference.

Apple iNC is truly is.

LOL :D

Seriously, spending the last two hours of your life attending this event was the biggest waste of time ever. Even if I wanted an AT&T phone, there was nothing said that wasn't already known a week or more before of the event.

that's correct..... i'm not eligible til feb 20 2011 and i bought mine on release day last year

I am starting to remember that they AT&T allow early upgrades for those who spend a certain amount a month. Since we have 3 iPhone 3GS in the family and my AT&T bill is about $250 a month, I may be OK here. The two phones bought on day 1 are marked as eligible for upgrade now -- the one I bought my mother-in-law last week is marked for 2012 (and this will be more than enough phone for her).

Anyway, 2 3GS phones soon to be sold on Craigslist (just like the original and 3G iPhones that went before).

I know there will be lots of haters as always, but I'm very impressed with today's keynote. The new iPhone is incredibly impressive and I'll likely be upgrading my 3GS! Nice job, Apple.

This is about as disappointing as it gets.

I know the feeling. :(

I was hoping a 64GB version too but you make some fine points. 32GB pre-order here I come next week.

so if the new iphone has a micro sim opposed to the current iphone. when i get my pre-order i wont be able to activate it myself?

The name is extremely cheesy, just like a kid named it, as you say.

The thing with space, is that the iPhone holds all kinds of media now. Books, Videos, Music, Apps, Pictures, etc. etc. 32GB just isn't enough anymore. Also remember that you need to leave some space free so the phone actually functions.

Can I get an explanation of why the Gyroscope is a big deal? Please explain in terms of the sixaxis.
