Why would they?? I am SICK of people saying this, I own the current 3G but qualify. Just because you own a 3G doesn't make you some elite group that gets early upgrade for cheap. It will cost you $100 more for early upgrade!

I don't remember Apple laptops ever being this affordable. And MS doesn't take potshots at anyone? Really? Do you live under a rock?

I know MS does, but that does not dignify the responses I got for my so-called negativity which in my opinion are design flaws for my usage(Pro Audio).

I am disappointed in Apple, much like MS did years ago.I use what works for MY NEEDS not some trend setting IKEA elitist POS that Apple has become.Aplle is more about visuals now, the wow factor.I care for utility and expansion possibilities to get the most bang for the buck.

So, yeah, I am even more upset at the remarks left by some here.Its the the Apple fanboys that are some of the nastiest people(esp. on this forum) that really set me off.Its cool to like a product, even praise it.The group bashing by a products fan's is wrong and sad at the same time.

Pretty underwhelmed with the 3GS. I was expecting there a completely new iPhone...new form factor, OLED screen, 3.2 camera...I don't recall seeing anything on RAM or CPU upgrades. Disappointing.

But on the other hand, I'll be swinging for the 32GB as soon as it's possible for me to do so.

how do you think the speed comes from? RAM and CPU were upgraded...just didnt announce it.

I looked on AT&T's website. Says I qualify. But yeah, they won't make an exception, you need to finish your contract first.

It's quite getting difficult to be critical of Apple and voice that opinion nowadays.

I've had to pay the price for wanting to run OS X as well.
