I just checked and there is every combination for Verizon available for today at different locations. Depends how far you want to drive..

I just noticed this as well. Guess these phones will be available on a daily basis until inventory disappears.
No one got played. The reason they have them in the store, is because they have to reserve some to be sold in stores. Nowadays, most people pre-order, which means less people are going to the stores. This is why I don't ever pre-order anymore. I wait until the morning after launch and go online and reserve one for pick up. Works every time.
Not anymore--it was earlier today and by 11AM OOS at all Apple Stores near here. I just couldn't bring myself to cancel my preorder, when I saw that at about 9AM. So I went down to Willow Bend and got in line to get a reservation number before cancelling my preorder, and they sold out before they got to me.
Read that other folks were able to cancel the preorder and reorder in about 5 minutes online for pick up today. Had I known it would work that way for sure, I'd have done that and have mine now (the pick up lines at Willow Bend were running way behind--more than an hour), as opposed to the delivery by 11/17-11/24.
Grabbed one this morning and already picked it up. Makes me feel like an idiot for staying up til 3:00 AM last Friday LOL. On the other hand I was able to switch color to silver, so there's that. Oh well, on to cancel my pre-order.
Same thing last year, even though the 7 plus on both blacks was a bit harder to get than the X. The weekend(s) had a decent stock influx to be reserved, and that’s how I picked up an additional 7 plus black.
Thanks a lot. Not long after you answered, I setup a pick up at the Apple Store an hour away, cancelled my pre-order, and now I am back home with my iPhone X! I appreciate the help.
How so? If anything they made it harder for people who want to buy it and use it for them selves?
I was up and pre ordered and went through that nightmare, all while so many got pushed back weeks, meanwhile yesterday and today many many people are able to just go into the store and buy up to two phones and than re sell them. If anything this been a much easier time to buy vs many times in the past.
For fastest service, yes. But you can go anytime in 24 hours to get it.

Hey you are in good company. Seems that the lack of stock is not so bad. Apple told me the stores inventory will update around 5-6am every morning. They will have more to sell in the morning.
Wait what? Where have you been, under a rock? Maybe you didn't hear the news that Apple sold out of the phone in like minutes, about there being limited supplies, about people being pushed back weeks, about stores having very limited quantities to sell on launch day? Something about if you did not pre order there might not be a phone in your future until 2018!
I own a business, I understand the hype trade, i get it, and I'm ok with yes people wanting something new. However that launch was a friggin de-boggle to real deal people trying to actually buy the phone to use it for themselves, and stories of people waiting weeks if not months was wide spread. Only to see it release and ME MYSELF being able to get one on launch day with a heck of alot of people and hearing the same thing all over and now today seeing that so many stores had stock all over NY is sounding alot different than what was being said a few days ago.
When you have scores of people waltzing into Apple today and just buying one and canceling an order that has been stuck on a Nov 17th-24th delivery date well that seems to me that the shortage stories seem to be a little bit far fetched. Whatever, got my phone, and I'm seeing others getting theirs as well. Moving forward unless Apple fixes their so called early pre order upgrade process, I'll be one of those that just does not stress and goes nice and easy and gets my phone the day it gets released.
Central Florida must be a hot spot for this phone....None have been available at the 11 local Apple stores since release. Called local Verizon stores and they basically laughed at my. My EDD is 12/1, still showing processing....
Picked 2 up yesterday at 8am after arriving at 3am and picked up one for my wife today via a store reservation. Wish I would have known that camping out wasn’t necessary. But it was a fun experience anyway.
Every night. I want to say they update their site roughly around 10 p.m. local time.
Thank you! I’m gonna check tonight! I’m just so afraid to cancel my preorder and then I have nothing! Lol would it be possible for me to reserve one for pick up under a different number and then when I get there cancel it and upgrade my number!? I’m just afraid I’m gonna get there and maybe they’re out of phones.
Sadly no, you have to cancel your current order first then reserve a in-store pick up.
Here in northern Louisiana, every Apple store in a 250 mile radius has the iPhone X in stock today. Although, I don't want an X due to the narrow screen.
Ups or FedEx delivers daily except Sunday. The phone that arrive today go on sale the next day. Sunday may not be good.
