Xbox One S & Xbox One X (Scorpio) (2017)

I believe black with the word Scorpio in green on it.

It is sort of a dark gradient from black to dark green (printed little x's)...

I think it's overpriced for us, in the U.K. It's £450, you can buy a Dell Inspiron PC with the Ryzen chip for £699. I think when it's around the £300 mark it'll be worth it, but I can't see that ever happening, maybe it'll drop to £375 ish? The Xbox One S is good value now, unless you do want that 4K gaming in some games.
It is a nice system, just think these launch prices are high but they drop soon enough.

Price isn't really bothering me too much as the Xbox One & Kinect bundle I bought on launch was €499 too.

It's more of a case that I am not seeing enough justification to buy the hardware based on Xbox exclusive titles as other than cuphead, very little has pepped my interest. Likewise then I am not sure I will see enough of a boost fidelity wise over the checkerboard 4k gaming I get on the PS4 Pro as is. At least not enough of an increase to warrant buying it.

I may change my mind but at the moment I see nothing that knocks my socks off to push me to order.
 
I will likely pre-order. But I'm certainly not making it a priority. I think all the major titles that really impressed me or at least what I have seen from E3 are not due out until 2018 or later.
 
I pre-ordered as I had BB certificates and also a very limited amount of the Special Editions were offered.

I will go from there and either sell or see what its all about.

I prefer gaming on XB as my primary system so this is a very welcome addition.
 
Never owned an XBox. I remember getting a PS3 for the media capabilities.

I find myself considering one of the newer XBoxes specifically for the media functions. Had the PS4 had said abilities (UHD BR, H265 hardware decode), I would have owned one by now.

I've played Forza 7 on the Xbox Scorpio, it was at Good Wood Festival Of Speed this year, a load of the dev kit machines in simulators. No idea if it was a 4K screen but it didn't blow my socks off I have to say...

Still early days.

I love my Xbox One S and use it every day, play the games at the weekend then use it for streaming all week, it's great for what I want. I won't be upgrading, no need as I don't have a 4K TV and it does all I need and uses less electricity doing it too!

Scorpio is black with a grey gradient of dots. It says project Scorpio in Xbox green on the console and controller.

I've seen the Xbox one x case at the Microsoft store. I'm holding off for plain black. It will disappear into my entertainment center.

OK so it's a black to gray gradient, should be nice. I'll keep my preorder for now.

I stopped by the Microsoft store the other day. They had dummy units of the One X and the Minecraft One S on display. I gotta say the Minecraft edition is very cool. I will probably pick up both the creeper and pig controllers 😀 I asked the gaming rep if the Scorpio edition One X will be green, he said it'll be solid black like the regular edition 😵 He also told me each Microsoft store has 50 Scorpio allotted, and that his store has 15 preorders on it.

I think that Minecraft console looks freaking fantastic, and I'm not even into Minecraft!

I just got the email from Amazon they had more Project Scorpio Xbox One X available for preorder, so I jumped on it and ordered. I would swear I checked Amazon yesterday and it was not available for preorder any longer, so I'm assuming MS made more units available to Amazon.

I saw the minecraft box in the MS store today, it looked uber cool I have to say.
It's not just colors, the blocks have etched lines to them.

If we didn't have 2 Ss already I'd buy one, but I'm more than happy to be getting a X to replace a day 1 edition black.

I was at the MS Store today as well, and that Minecraft one is really cool, especially that translucent underside.

They didn't have any mock-up XBox One X Scorpio Editions... 🙁

I got a smoking deal on a founders edition GTX 1080TI at Micro today for $335 😱😀 For some odd reason they clearanced that card out. Looks like I'll be cancelling the One X preorder. Can't justify having both, especially when all Microsoft first party titles is available on the PC. Forza 7 running on 1080TI should be sweet.

This back and forth will never end. I had a 1070 in this box, which I was going to sell entirely, then decided to sell just the 1070 (while prices are high 😀) and downgraded to a 1050TI. That little card is surprisingly capable. Anyway, rise of tomb raider looks absolutely luscious playing at 4K on very high at 60fps 😀

Yeah never mind that I have like 40 games in my steam library that I largely haven't even played.

Someone made a grave error - that card is around $750. Open box at mine is $695...
