Depends on what a person wants. If I don’t care about features offered in any product then those features don’t make the product superior ‘to me’. I have no interest in drawing on my phone. The s pen is meaningless to me. I think icons look cheap on the Note and I’ve found many apps I use to be iOS only. I value airdrop, iMessage, and FaceTime immensely and those are iOS specific. I dislike how the sides of the Note curve and hate how it feels in the hand. I’ve used google apps on both and am amused at how much better I find them to be on an iPhone. I prefer the camera on the Max to the Note and definitely find the Max to be night and day more aesthetically appeasing to my eyes. I appreciate that my iPhone holds its value whereas a Note can be had for pennies on the dollar within 3-6 months of release. I don’t have to wonder if my phone will get an OS update or the timing if it does. The Note feels cheap to me and I don’t dig the long square look.

You’ll notice those are all ‘my’ ‘opinions’ and not meant to speak for anyone other than myself. I’m glad others like the Note. Competition is a good thing and so is choice. If I was forced to use a Note, I could and would. But it’s not my first or 5th choice.

You don’t visit android central very often I take it. Hop on over there and mention that you went iPhone and if you dare, for sh**s and giggles say you prefer it. See what type of response you get and report back lol. Go find a pro-iPhone video on YouTube and then read the comments section. You think Apple fans are bad? Ha. It’s not one sided. I can assure you that.

Huh? Let’s see
1. You don’t like a long square look? Lmfao have you looked at the iPhones lately?
2. Cheap feeling ? I have the note 9 and it’s premium feeling all day long and actually looks better to me.
3. Now let’s get to camera. The note 9 camera is superior that’s not debatable none of them beats the pixel camera period.

Call it for what it is I used both when people say smooth they actually mean they don’t have to use much of their brains to use iOS vs android because it so much you can do with android period or the note9.
4. You mentioned the Apple Watch it’s also not debatable if your speaking lte watches the galaxy watch is superior if you don’t believe it due some research and see what a true lte watch supposed to do. How I know I also own a apple watch 3 and galaxy watch

This video just shows how much more interesting the note 9 is. It is fast and works well PLUS it has lots more things you can do and enjoy.

Of course, if you just want a plain and boring UI and limited capability, get XS

Well look at this. It appears my opinions have you triggered. Best part is I never even mentioned a watch. This is quite amusing lol. Fanboy much?

No fan boy I’m typing as we speak on my iPhone X. I use them all. They are great in their own way

Not triggered but only amused because it seems you don’t really like tech. I just addressed your points
You addressed my opinions. That’s kinda sad that one man’s opinions can get you so fired up. I find the Note 9 to be garbage. The Galaxy S Watch reminds me of a Timex. The fact that my opinions triggered you so much is laughable. I love tech. Hence why I have the Max. The best experience ‘for me’ there is. Did you catch the ‘for me’ part? Or shall I go slower?

It’s a preference, that’s all. A video doesn’t prove that an opinion is fact. You prefer one platform over the other, just leave it at that.

Leave that video person opinion aside, can the iPhone do what he has shown. NO. You dont like those functions fine, but the next person might. I can also say your opinion above doesn't prove anything either.

My Note 9 compared to my s9+ and max feels cheap and looks cheap. The glass just feels like plastic.

I honestly hate when people say “yOu CaN dO So mUcH wItH AndRoiD” if your android device isn’t rooted and bootloader unlocked it’s STILL extremely limited. I refuse to argue it’s not.

You can feel the rough seam between the glass and the rim of your max. Plus camera bump....said so much about quality.

Sorry, what is your main search engine on an iPhone?
I will never purchase any device that has Google as the main OS. That's enough right there for me to not even consider it. I respect Apple and it's stance to stand up to consumer's privacy. I don't want to be another guinea pig for Google, they're not going to profit off me by selling my data.

I’ve spent untold thousands of dollars on Samsung phones over the years. Right now in 2018, the note 9 and max are neck and neck. In 2021 the max will still be working well and the note will most likely be a glitchy mess. Every year they claim Samsung phones finally don’t lag, yet when the new ones come out they admit their old one did start to lag. The note 9 will get android p and q, but that’s most likely going to be it. Either one will work great today, but it depends how long you want to keep them. You will be able to trade someone a ham sandwich and $100 for the note 9 in 3 years. Not so with the max.

I wish people would get this animated about politics/poverty and world peace. Probably have less pointless and irrelevant posts like these then.

I don’t ever keep my phones for longer than a year so long term performance and software updates are less of an issue for me. My husband has a note 8 which he’s had for a year now. It still seems pretty responsive and fluid. However if I were going to keep one for more than a year it would be an iPhone.

I can't be bothered changing OSs and habits after using iOS for over 10 years now, but the Note definitely makes MUCH better use of the big screen than the XS Max and the Plus phones ever did. iOS really needs to catch up in this regard.

We can’t control any of that. Big business and the 1% are in charge of all of it. What we can control is what phone we like and decide to buy.

I'm on no one's side, only my own, but I want to help everyone equal so I would just like to point out the probability of this comment being used against you. I've noticed for several days the lack of punctuation, proper grammar, and using the wrong form of 'your' and some spelling errors ('relevant' was also wrong in your above post). No qualms with you personally about it, just saying that if you're going to argue with forum kiddies, but be careful how you attack them as they stoop to whatever they can to come back at you with.

Thank you.
it’s a combination of mistakes that stems from exhaustion and adjusting to the new keyboard on the max. I previously had an X.

I should be more careful going forward.

Thank you again.
