Put your calibrators away. If nothing else, this marathon thread should show everyone that there are huge variances with the panels that Apple is using for the 3rd generation iPad from one unit to the next, so there is no blanketed standard to go by or mass observation.
If your display shows a correct calibration, that means that YOUR display shows a correct calibration - it means nothing for the 'iPad 3 display' as a whole or for the poster before or after you.
If you're happy with your iPad display, don't piss on the people who aren't. I expect top notch quality from Apple and a display that looks dim and hued to the right and bright and clear to the left is not quality in my book.
As far as screen tint, there is yellow, there is blue and there is normal. Normal natural toned displays are not yellow and they are out there, so keep swapping until you get one. It's obvious that the masses aren't picky (or do not have an eye for detail), which is only good for Apple.
My iPad was almost $900, I want an amazing ****ing display that's evenly lit with no hue shifting (which is painfully obvious while reading email and iBooks or doing anything with a white screen).
