Umm, I know this is probably pointless but could we maybe stop banging on about "Yellow Tint" on iPad screens? That particular phrase in the Apple world tends to be used for screens that have an actual manufacturing problem, typically a significant yellow tint over part (or all) of the screen that's way beyond a colour calibration issue. I seem to remember it first cropping up when the Macbook Pro line went LED backlit in 2007 (the first batch of 15" machines in particular had serious issues) but it could be further back than that. I know I've personally seen issues with the MBP 2007 and 27" iMac 2011 and, believe me, you'll spot it instantly if you have a faulty panel.
What most are reporting is a warmer colour temperature on the screen and, while some may not like it, it's not technically a fault with the panel. By not making that distinction people (seemingly a very small number at this point) with actual issues may find it hard to get advice.
If you're not happy with the colour temp then, by all means, return it to Apple for either a replacement or refund. It's your money, you should have a product you're happy with. But maybe try and bear in mind that a warmer panel is not inherently a faulty one...?
