YouTuber Tests Apple Watch Ultra Durability With a Hammer: Table Breaks Before the Watch

Yeah, I watched this video also from him (more money for him)
Anyway...he saws off the 14 Pro Max cameras, while the phone itself is recording. Hmm.

I’m now confident on how strong Apple Watch Ultra is for day to day use. Definitely take my money. /s
🤣😂😅🤣😂😅
(Seriously though, I want to get Ultra for battery life)

It means the Ultra’s flat display should withstand more loads and impacts. A nice improvement for daily use.

I hope Ultra design trickled down to the whole Series 9.

More Apple technology must get landfilled after being deliberately broken for ‘entertainment’ purposes than is ever landfilled due to so-called ’planned obsolescence‘.

Stupid video… like it shows everything that is wrond with the wirld today… some idiot smashing watches with hammer and making money of it… with groundbreaking revelation - hammer can destroy watches

There used to be a YouTuber that scratch tested with a mohs hardness scale.

If someone has these tools it would great if you could let me know.

And yet my Ultra got a nasty nick on it after an accidental brush with my kitchen counter, but it’s durable enough to withstand a boulder falling on me. What to do, what to do…

Let’s be realistic it did not take innovation to make it the most rugged extreme durable “Apple Watch” yet.

Everyone talks about durability, this means nothing as it could not be turned on after few beatings. This might not be a realistic scenario, but Apple advertised this watch as if Lara Croft was using this. Imagine the Watch falling down of a mountain and had to be fetched back. Would be great if it still works.

Do not underestimate the kitchen. It hass all the ingredients for a great adventure. The kitchen is a very very dangerous place. Be careful out there!

Utter wastage! Terrible for the environment too. This type of YouTubers should get the boot.

Ah the clueless, environment argument again.

And how exactly is it terrible for the environment?

Apple has one of the best recycling programs in the world, in any industry, and you can be certain these YouTubers who make a habit of destroying Apple gear for a living are in the habit of making use of it. No Apple product should ever wind up in landfill.

Your soapbox comment fails in pushing its agenda, and succeeds only in showing your ignorance.

...Unless it's a deliberate attempt to spread misinformation, in which case you should get the boot.

Apple has never advertised you can pound the s**t out of the Apple Watch Ultra. So lame.
It is absolutely lame. It’s a video about “let me show you breaking the Apple Watch”. No indication of how much force used (because he has no way to measure it, I guess). It’s not even a systematic approach.

For social media clicks, views and profit, I guess?

Now, how much will you all pay me, and subscribe to my channel.... since I plan to "test" the Apple Watch Ultra against the most formidable opponent: COVID-19, slayer of millions, and devastator of world economies.

Is the Apple Watch Ultra up to the challenge?!
Alas, wrong kind of virus. Lol. Don’t even need Symantec Antivirus for that one since the Watch can’t be infected that way. 😂

Do these characters who destroy the products get enough views that it pays for them to do their unscientific tests?
When you factor in the earnings that come from the new subs that particular video brings in, then yes most of the time the first people to make these popular videos do more than pay for the cost of breaking the device. Plus any good YouTuber will have their YouTubing set up as a business and will be able to deduct the cost of the broken devices from their taxes. If they are in a high tax bracket then it's effectively a fairly high percentage off the retail price. It is still a gamble though, if someone else's video for the same device gets popular first then recording yourself smashing the latest device might not pay for itself in the end.
