That was stupid.. You do know that you can not walk into Target, Sears, Walmart and so on and find a Mac.. Mac is really hard to find in the wild then a typical PC..

Really, Because I see one in every Best Buy and Fry's that are not Apple Stores. Plus there are a lot of Apple Stores in malls.. Also you see Mac Ads on TV. You see Mac on TV shows and movies... So People know more about a Mac then a Zune seeing it not in Tv ads or in Tv Shows or movies.. Try again and come back with some thing that does not make you sound stupid..

I see Zunes at Fry's and BestBuy's and also Microsoft Stores. What's your point?
BTW learn the difference between than and then. Your misuse makes you sound stupid.

It's a computer that intelligent people use, the rest of the world uses a Windows PC. :p

Nice, too bad hardly anyone uses it. ;)

And here we go again. Only intelligent people use Zunes. Too bad hardly anyone uses Macs... ;)

Just quit with the nonsense bashing. It's ridiculous.

I think your misunderstand yourself.. People see Mac's on TV in Ads, TV Shows and Movies... So people know about Mac's and That what I am pointing out.. People do not know about Zune because there are NO TV ADS OR IN TV SHOWS OR MOVIES.. So that means that less people know about Zunes over a Mac or Ipod.. So if any one that sound stupid is yourself...

I've seen them at BB and Fry's too, sharing the bin with the $5 DVD's or on Black Friday with the $1 DVD's. Of course you'll see them at the MS store, who else would be enthusiastic selling them? :p

Uh, you started this "nonsense" when you started flaming saying, "What's a Mac", so why don't you quit this nonsense genius, this is a Mac forum so don't come here with that crap. You live in the Bay Area, go check out Peets coffee and every other Coffee house, you'll see an abundance of Macs with iPods and NO Zunes.

"sharing the bin with the $5 DVD's or on Black Friday with the $1 DVD's"

Why does the majority of posters in Microsoft related threads feel the need to try and put down Microsoft products? Serious question.

What don't you like about Zune Software and the Zune hardware that makes you feel the need to make ignorant comments about them?

How funny would it be if the original push from Apple into the Windows realm turned full-face and became the big Windows push into the Mac?

iTunes on Windows originally was made for the iPod users to actually have software that they can use. Now, Zune on Mac so people can use their Zunes/WP7 phones? Clearly the numbers won't be the same, but I bet at least a hand full of buyers were turned away from Zune because they couldn't use it on their Mac, or easily augment their existing iTunes library with a Zune library.

Cool news (if true) for the people that needs /want this service.

As for the rest of us. . . I'd rather hear another Verizon rumor (NOT really) than care about this. It's just not my kind of Zing.

And I'm not going to bash people's opinions or choice, because it's their decision. Fanboy or not if Mac users want a Windows based phone . . .

But I'll stick with Apple.

If I remember correctly, he didn't start it. Someone said "What's a Zune?" and he responded "What's a Mac?" I thought they were both just joking around, sense of humor thing, but someone got really offended that he said "What's a mac."

It's just the common case of not being able to take what you dish out...

How's that.. Go on the street and ask people what is a Mac and people will telling you.. But if you Also ask what is a Zune you would get some people looking at you weird.. Zune is not a common word as Mac is or iPad.. And that is the point be hide "what is a Zune" not every one know it as well as a iPod or Mac.. Also I bet you see people caring a iPod or other type of MP3 player then you do a Zune...

I don't think it's about being offended. I'm sure that if you walk in the streets and ask random people "What's a Zune?", the majority won't know that it's a PMP. If you ask "What's a Mac?", very few won't know it's a computer; maybe a marginal few will respond "It's a hamburger!", though.

I hope you were looking in the mirror as you said that. That comment belongs only to you. ;). If someone bashed the Zune, you were worse tenfold by responding with that unnecessary comment about the Mac on a Mac forum. And for the record, this thread is about Zune software coming to the "Mac", this is not a thread to waste breath on talking about a loser product which is the Zune.

Who cares? This is such a childish argument. This is something that a 5th grader would care about. I'm not putting you down, just some constructive criticism.

You clearly don't understand the saying... Anyways keep bashing products you've never used. It is how winners act. You also never answered my question though about what you don't like about the Zune and what you don't like about the Zune Software so I will assume you based your "loser" comments on marketshare, which the Zune shares with Macs...

BTW I just asked my roommate if he knows what a Zune is. He has an iPad and a has/has had Macbook(s) iPod(s) and iPhone(s) and his family is all Mac. He knew what it was...

My god, you people are all dense as hell.

Microsoft doesn't release Zune software.

*baww, horribul support, baww*

Microsoft going to release Zune software.

*hurr durrr what's a zune lol m$*

Every time I stumble upon one of these threads, I can't help but think about this picture.

It's like you are struck with cerebral palsy every time something is made by someone other than your beloved Apple. What a bunch of goddamn sheep in here.

The notion that brand recognition equals quality can only be seriously considered by imbeciles. Who cares if some idiot friend of yours doesn't know what a Zune is? I bet you some guy in Africa doesn't know what an iPhone is, does that mean iPhones are now dead?

Some protips:
Calling Windows, 'windoze' isn't clever. It's stupid and annoying. Stop it.
Calling Microsoft M$ isn't clever. It's stupid and annoying. Stop it.

I understand what your saying but I was just making a point even tho it meant sound like a 5th Grade argument.. Some times a simple point is the only way to get it across to some people..

You're missing the point. The point is that the person who asked "What's a Zune?" actually might not know what a Zune is. It was not necessarily some sarcastic question. Personally, I learned about Zune quite recently, maybe late 2009 - while working on a Windows computer on daily basis for more than a decade. MSFT has done a piss-poor job at raising the awareness for that product.

If you seach his (Quoted *LTD*) history for Zune he's made 54 posts about it and even made threads on Zunes...
