Zune Software Coming to Mac to Support Windows Phone 7?

.But seriously, I just tried something on my wonderful DELL Latitude equipped with the marvelous OS called Windows XP: I actually launched the very fluid piece of software called Windows Media Player. I really tried hard but I didn't manage to find ANY reference to Zune. THAT's why MSFT is such a retarded company.
What they do is not *always* crappy but when it is not, they're hopelessly clueless at catching people's attention in a positive way.

One of the big news about the phone is that it uses the Zune software to connect to the PC.
Intelligent people ask the question: So what would I think of this product if it didn't have "Microsoft" written on it? Under that assumption, the Zune is just one of many, many products, not standing out in any way, not in any way better than many other non-Apple products. Nobody would choose Zune let's say over a good Creative player if it wasn't for that name. The press would never have hyped the product the way they did if it wasn't for the "Microsoft" name. 90% of Zune sales are because of Microsoft, not because of the product (however, the Microsoft name has lost quite a bit in the last five years, so their new phone OS will be measured on merits and is therefore dead in the water).
i, for one, am glad they're ensuring windows phone 7 compatibility for the mac. i love my iphone, i do, and i've had every model since the original iphone from launch. but despite all its added features over the years (the multi-tasking, the retina display, the app store, etc.), to me it's kind of just the same as it's always been, almost a little bit stale. i look at windows phone 7, and it's different. it's new and exciting.
is it better? maybe not, but i feel like it doesn't even have to be.

Sales because of the name is no different for any known brand, apple included. How many buy ipod over comparable creative or sandisk?
Same goes for hype, media reports on ipod release they wouldnt do for other vendors.

DId you know they were coming out with Windows Phone 7? The main reason for the syncing software coming to OS X... As the title says.
I can add a +1 to the Zune software being far far better than iTunes.
As far as hardware, I still own the original Zune working fine, never had a problem.
At the time I bought it for a few reasons over an iPod
Lower cost (I think 50 dollars less?) for same size
Better screen
Video playback that is actually watchable unlike on the square iPod screen
Wireless sync (do iPods even have that yet? not sure)
FM radio
Better looking (white looked too girly and black just didn't do it for me, too plain)
Customizable wallpaper or whatever on it
Also, not huge but the Apple ear buds are crap, the ones that came with my Zune are amazing.
The iPod touch was the first iPod to even come close to my Zune imo, and by then there were newer Zunes and the iPod wasn't in the same price bracket.
I can't speak to Zune HD vs iPod touch now, but using both iTunes and the Zune software extensively, the Zune software is far superior. Is iTunes marketplace tracks still only 128 Kbps or did they finally fix that? That was a pretty big one as well, anything below 320 MP3 isn't going on my system.

No, that's just not true. The Zune software is not better than iTunes. It's impossible because the Zune software was developed by Microsoft, and iTunes by Apple. At least that's the logic.
If Microsoft do this, I hope they make a better job of it than Apple did with iTunes on Windows which has to be one of the worst pieces of software available for Windows.

Why don't they just use iSync for wireless syncing like Apple do? It's the right technology.

If Microsoft keeps playing the only for win 7 game for a consumer product they basically cut off 1/2 their sales.
The tool if they actually come out with it should be a feature by feature copy of whats offered to Windows users.... Like Itunes is.
If not they are sure to fail...
Also they will fail if they don't differentiate from Itunes ..... I like what someone else said here ..... WIRELESS SYNC.
