Im in the same boat as the poster above, nothing can be found. I think we will be okay, i have faith in apple
 
For those that have a "reservation" - were you able to pick a plan/color/size. Basically anything? After the app let me in (almost an hour after I woke myself up to try and do it quick :( ) I was able to pick everything with almost no hitch got confirmation email with my order / delivery date/ model - everything.

So maybe it was just that carrier couldn't be reached at the time in which case I don't know why you would have gotten an email.
 
I'm on hold with apple right now, and have been for 30 minutes. I'm on the sprint framily plan which supposedly is not compatible with the apple store. I really hope I can get the phone I have on reservation though.

My reservation number starts with B101
 
I got the e-mail, and when I go to check the status of the reservation, it says it can't be found. Needless to say, I'm going to be pissed if there's no reservation.

Its there, but just like every other part of Apple's order system, reservation status can't always be contacted.
 
When you check the reservation I only get it to work by typing in the reservation number, not by logging in with my Apple ID.

I'm a B401 reservation, Silver 64GB AT&T 6+, when I ordered it said 9/19 delivery but I was stuck on the account confirmation page for a long time before it gave me a reservation.
 
I ordered a contract free 6 as well just to be on the safe side but i really wanted a 6 plus like my B401 order.
 
I got this message last night around 4:15am. I recall in past years things like this can turn into a nightmare so when I woke up at 6:45 I tried ordering again through the app. Went through just fine and I have to 6's heading my way on the 19th :).
 
I also received this email when it showed a delivery date of 09/19. Cant login to the reservation system. Tried calling Apple, but after 15 minutes of NOT getting through to a person, I give up.

I wonder if I should go ahead and place a new order and wait '3-4 weeks' or just hold out for this reservation system. :(
 
I have no idea what I have reserved. I was trying any combination of the 6+. They were all at deliver by 19 when I was trying and I start at b301. Hopefully I get a follow up email soon or I will call Apple during my lunch.
 
I ordered through ATT and this morning received an email from Apple saying they have a phone reserved for me. Is that just them wanting me to order through apple?
 
I got tired of waiting on the email to complete the order. So I went back on the app and tried to order again. It let me order one finally at 8am. And it's still coming by next Friday.

All 6's seem to be in stock. Its the plus's that are oos.

Yea I thought that too, but my gf ordered 9 minutes later and it told her she would get hers between Oct. 1 and oct. 6.

My theory is that these dates are just wacky this year and if you get your order in soon enough, u can ignore the delivery date and just expect the phone next Friday.
 
Spoke with apple. The customer representative told me that apple wasn't doing reservations. I then spoke with her supervisor who told me the only way to get updates is through the link.

I dont like this one bit..

Some models are showing October shipping like Sprint and a couple other combos as of right now. Did she get gold? I

Checked it this morning not via iTunes logins, but with the B number and it says its there and a link to order will be sent in 24hrs.
 
I just waited an hour to speak to someone, who although very friendly, wasn't able to help much. Essentially I was told I needed to wait out the 2nd email, which could take up to 24 hours because there's so much overload on the systems right now. Fingers crossed it sorts itself out. When I go the the status site sometimes it finds my reservation and sometimes it doesn't. It's a mess.

Actually the email says 'You will have 24 hours from the time the email is sent to return to the Apple Online store to proceed with your order.', meaning, this email may never come.

I am starting to have low expectations for this reserve system. I should've pulled the trigger when I saw 10-14 days and the carrier systems WERE working (ATT).

I don't get it though. If the carrier systems are working now, why not shoot out the emails for all of the reservations? The carrier systems have been working on my end the last 4 hours.

Back in Oct 2011, I had a reservation for whatever iPhone was released back in 2011 and I had no issues.
 
I have a preorder through apple (somehow got it through after trying a ton of times) and a reservation (when i did it, it was set at a 9/19 date for a 16+) Now lets see which one takes first...

If we ever get the reservation instructions, putting my order (its a 401) in the reservation lookup, it says it cant find it.
 
I got 2 reservations...one from the iPhone app and one from my iPad app. I can pull up both of them using the conf. number on Apple's web site. I haven't gotten a second email yet, though. I hope they let me pick the color and size, since I was clicking on a bunch of different sizes in the Apple Store app to see if anything was available when I got the reservation message.
