I hate to say it, but I think Apple is going to stick with the 13" with the wide ass bezel.

We have been waiting for a good replacement for years, the MacBook 13 or the MBA is not it. We all get it, apple is no longer a computer only company but if sony can offer options, why not apple?

It's my money and I need now!!!, uppps!, different commercial, sorry.:p

Am I the only one who thinks the black keys are ugly? I hated them on the old Titaniums, hate them on the Air and still cant stand them now. I like the look of an all silver laptop. I really hope they dont put them on the new laptops.

I liked the look of the silver keys on my MacBook Pro. I just didn't like the silver illumination making the characters invisible. I like the illuminated look of my MacBook Air keyboard better than on the pro

Am I the only one that actually likes the aluminum with black keys?

All of the arguments against aluminum relating to wifi are forgetting something. The macbook pro does get poor wifi reception, however that is more due to the antennae placement than anything else, the air gets better wifi reception than a macbook, because the antennae are in a loop that go around the entire screen in a plastic strip bezel. Maybe they'll learn from that and make that standard?

We can only hope.

People always complain about how ugly black and aluminum is but I think it looks great on the Air and my iPhone

There are nine apples across that laptop and the new ipod nanos come in nine colors. Coincidence?

I think Silver-coloured keys with Silver-coloured laptop would look too plain in my opinion. Black and Silver would look better.

wouldn't it go against their eco-friendliness to put plastic keys for the sake of vanity? Besides can't the aluminum keys be painted black

Not really a big fan of it.. I think it looks kind of tacky. I like the look of the MBP rather than the air but it wouldn't be a breaker for me. Not that I'm getting one, but aesthetics plays a role in notebooks often. What attracted me most to the current MB was the thinness of them when closed, and the solid colors of white and black.

I want to know how the packaging will look like for the MacBook will it be like the iPods a clear package or will it be like the MBA's?

It's been confirmed now that the new Macbooks will not be aluminum, but rather gray plastic instead. They're also abandoning the intel chips in favor of the new generation of G5 PPC chips. It's true, really it is.

I agree with you in regards to the black...but have you looked at a "white" Macbook?? The topcase/palm rest is this gray/off-white color that makes the entire thing look tacky IMHO. If it was truly all white, I think it would look much better (and is the reason my last macbook was a black one).

If only

I am only interested in if the new MB or MBP will have HDMI or DisplayPort, or if Apple will stink this release all down with old DVI.
