There are nine apples across that laptop and the new ipod nanos come in nine colors. Coincidence?
Uh, I count 17.
But really there's only one Apple
the other's are pale reflections.

I think Silver-coloured keys with Silver-coloured laptop would look too plain in my opinion. Black and Silver would look better.
The iMac already has a black plastic back. It's not surprising to me.Hmmmmm. http://9to5mac.com/ is saying that the new MacBooks won't be entirely aluminum, but rather will have a plastic top.
interesting?
I was comparing the Mac mini to the tablet, not a netbook with a tablet.I disagree. A tablet is less likely IMO.
A netbook makes more sense.
What about the small close/minimize/zoom buttons and other small buttons? And things like sidebars, the Dock (vertical space), Inspector windows, and I'd say OS X is not well suited for resolutions less than 1024·768~1280·800. (And yes I do have a 1024·768 display.)OSX would fit this market well, and the OSX UI is well suited for small displays (large items like the Dock make it easy to launch applications,
That won't really solve the small display real estate problem. Decreasing the RI factor makes the GUI objects too small and increasing the RI factor will basically lower the resolution.resolution-independent UIs are already partially implemented in Leopard).
Who wants a 12" with a very wide bezel?I hate to say it, but I think Apple is going to stick with the 13" with the wide ass bezel.
Superimposed pictures suggest it's a 13". If so, I'd chalk the difference up to measurement error.I don't think it's a 13.3" anything. Taking the jpeg and crop the computer out, you'll find the pixel-dimension of what's displayed is 313p x 207p, and theis 34p wide. Assuming the
is 1.5" wide, that makes the computer to be 13.85in x 9.13in. That's diagonally 16.58", which is exactly what current 15" MBP measures.
Superimposed pictures show it's a 13". I'd chalk the mathematically calculated difference up to measurement error.
A slightly different view on what the picture is
And 9 to 5 mac also claims that the notebook on the invite can't be a MacBook since the MacBook's top is black plastic, not aluminum.
agreed. This is the new 13" aluminum MacBook.
Wrong. The photo is a fake. The invitation is fake too. Now move along, nothing to see here.
This IS awesome, but there's no way that Apple puts a picture of some new formfactor in the invite. The picture may be something real, it may not. But if Steve is going to wow us with something new, he wouldn't put it in the invite.
C'mon Steve - wow us with a 12" that puts the Air to shame!!! I want my 12" PB circa 2008 already!![]()
