I have a 15 PM and I'm going to upgrade to the 17 Pro. From my view, a smaller phone with better cameras and a better battery is a welcome upgrade. The Pro Max models are just getting too big for me.
Yeah that's exactly the boat I'm in right now. I love the big size but it's been creeping up and up, literally can't fit in some of my pants pockets now haha. Maybe back down to the 17 pro this time, and then next upgrade can theoretically be for a v2 fancy folding iphone that can solve the problem in a new and exciting way!

I most likely going to upgrade...but I usually wait until late early November.

I like having a few weeks of hearing about real world usage, issues, etc. Plus its easier to just walk into a store a grab one at that point.

I'm still on the fence on whether I do a battery replacement at 89% or just get the 17 Pro. I don't get the same excitement for these new phones like I used to, but the new battery life is something that really interests me.
Yeah, I’m jumping to the 17p now. My 87% battery in the 15pro is really starting to get annoying plus the constant heat issues With this phone since day 1! I‘ve had enough!

I'm coming from a 15 Pro Max. I think I've decided on a 17 (White)

- The Air just sacrifices some stuff I can't do without. (Extra camera, stereo speaker, lower battery life)
- There's nothing in the Pro or Pro Max that warrants the added upgrade cost for me these days (plus I think the design is just odd on this batch). Might go back to the Pro Max one day.

Excited to get a lot better battery life.

Currently have a 15 Pro (6.1"), was thinking of upgrading to the 17 Pro Max, but then remembered the Pro now has a 6.3" screen. Now both the Pro and Pro Max have the exact same camera too. Seriously thinking of just going for the 17 Pro instead, the slightly better battery and slightly bigger screen aren't worth the other trade offs (weight and overall size).

Anyone else thinking the same?

I'm prepped to go for the 17Pro (512gb), in the dark blue, and opted for Apple Care+

Have just had confirmation of sale of £510 for my existing 15Pro(256gb) which should take care of most of the first year of the 24 monthly repayments, using the 0% finance arranged via Apple (UK).

15 Pro with 88% battery health. Upgrading to an iPhone Air if the battery life claims are proven to be true next week - I think the trade offs are worth it for me. I take pretty casual photos, mostly selfies, some photos of friends and family when on vacation, etc. I think the camera is good enough for that.

I’m upgrading because I always hand my phones down to my partner and her iPhone SE 2 is really showing its age. My upgrade will be quite small but hers much bigger. I’ll aim to keep the 17 Pro for 3 years as I think the 15 Pro will easily perform well for her for another 3 years.

IPhone 17 Pro Max, Orange or Blue? Can’t decide. Currently have a iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB in Blue Titanium.

my launch day 15PM has 89% battery left. they really made it difficult for us to upgrade this year:

regular 17: no matter how improved the specs are, still a downgrade from a 2 year old pro max
17 air: battery, single camera, potential of another bend gate?
17 pro max: cheaper material, heavier and bulkier than the already hefty 15PM.
