I have 16.7MB free on my 16GB iPhone 4. With any luck T-mobile will FINALLY start offering the iPhone when the iPhone 5 is released so I can get a 64GB at a reasonable price. Having to buy my iPhones used and at overly inflated prices has been a real pain.

In case anyone is counting, I have 1,667 songs, 4 audiobooks, 1 video, 500 photos and 44 applications on my iPhone.

I assume you meant you have a 32GB iphone?

I was also on T-Mobile for years, on Android. But I'm a Mac user at home and finally decided you know what, I want the damn iPhone haha, but wasn't cool with edge speeds. Wound up leaving TMO and am using a 4s on Straight Talk. $50/month for unlimited everything PLUS 3g, it's awesome. Also, you can get pretty good deals on CL for used iphones...by this point you probably just want to wait for the new one, but you can get a 64gb iphone 4s for around $500, give or take. If you get a CDMA version and unlock it with Gevey Ultra S, you can get a 64gb for less, in the $400 range...

I don't think any size is enough really! I need like a 20TB iPhone, LOL.
I recently switched to 32gb and that is full but I travel lots and need my tv shows with me. So thats why i say it isn't enough. My sis is more than happy with her 16bg though because she says its easy enough to switch out her media

Hey,
Its depends upon users usage. In my opinion, I think 16GB iPhone is enough for a user. I have iPhone 3 with 256 MB internal storage. It is working fine and it is enough for me. :apple:

Yes, it obviously depends on user/usage. I'd be hesitant to limit myself to 16GB, so I don't think I could deal with 256MB of storage, but that's just me. If it works for you, I have no problem with that :)

I have the 16GB ip4 but i keep most of my media/movies etc., on my ipad3.

My phone is an enterprise one, so by the time it fills up with emails from my "sent" folder, i'll hopefully have a much larger capacity device (iphone 7 with 4 TB? :D )

got the 16gb - have only 3gb left - if you take a lot of pictures using your phone and still want to have a decent music collection & some games/apps you should really go for the 32gb - I'll be going for 32gb iphone 5 as 16 is not enough anymore

No I don't find it to be enough and will be upgrading to 32GB with the new one. Once you download some games and take some videos and photos you've had it. I have currently over 2 gig free and even that is still not enough to download and install the new Modern Combat 3 update!

Go for 32 gig minimum.

I've had a 16gb for about a year now. While it doesn't cramp my style much, it does suck when installing a single app can push you over the limit. I am definetly going for a 32gb next time. If for no other reason than the 2 year contract meaning I am gonna be on whatever device I get for a while.

Yeah, I am really enjoying this 64GB 4s for sure...got plenty of music, apps, pics, etc, and room for plenty more. I'm gonna get spoiled and not be able to get anything smaller for the new one :-/

Well I just got an 5S. Guess what? All the Apple Apps took like 3 GB by itself!

I have a 16 and am contemplating returning it for a 32 before my return period is over.

So far my 16Gb 4S is fine for me, I don't have much music on it, don't use it for watching video or have too many bloated apps installed. Still have about 9Gb free and am quite happy with it.

I think given that I'm someone who prefers listening to the radio rather than MP3s, not much of a gamer or a film buff means I can get away with the smaller capacity versions of phones quite comfortably!

No. 16 GB is not enough. I just upgraded to 32 with. 7 GB to spare. Thing is, I still don't have as many songs on the device as I'd like.

Mine is 16GB and I still have plenty of space. I don't use my phone as a mp3 player though and don't store movies on it. I also don't have hundreds of apps load that I don't use.

It's always nice to have additional storage especially when you can't add to it but if you know how you plan to use your device and manage what you put on it then 16GB could work for you

That's like me...I've used 8 of 16GB and I keep only about 80 songs and 40 "smaller" size apps except I have apple's pages, keynote, and numbers apps which are a bit space consuming. U probably don't want to use much games or movies on your iPhone because it will just run the battery down...and take up space that u should keep...

Or do you constantly wish you had more storage? I know this is fairly subjective, i.e. someone who has a huge itunes library might need more than 16, while someone who doesn't listen to music would never know the difference...just wanted to hear opinions on whether people think it's enough for the phone to still be comfortably usable.

It is depend on you. I think 16GB is enough.

Every IPhone I owned until my latest 16G 5S was 32Gig. I got the 16 because I got a good deal on it but was very concerned about the memory size.

I don't miss the additional storage one bit. I never keep video on my iphone and most of the 16Gig is taken up with music. Since my music collection is 150 Gig I can only carry around part of it anyway.

I connect my phone to my computer at least every couple of days and it is very simple to update the music library. In fact what I found is that I spent years with 32Gig phones carrying around music I never listen too. I suspect this is the case with most of those with large capacity phones.

I have 16gb when I'm done playing a game or any other type of app I just delete it. For my music I change my playlist of 15 sings to listen when I'm riding the subway where there's no internet service. When I have an internet connection ill be listening to tunein.

Why resurrect a year and a half old thread?!?

Thread might be old... but the perennial problem of decisions..decisions.. decisions.. will always live...

On that note, just exchanged my 16 GB Gold 5S for a 32 GB Space Gray 5S!

Peace at last!

I'm perfectly happy with Cloud services like Netflix and iTunes radio.

I treat my iPhone's camera just like my dslr.

Once in awhile I'll offload all the photos and videos I've taken to my Mac, then delete them from my phone.

I'll sort the ones I want, upload them to Flickr, and cull the rest.

Out of the million or so apps in the App Store, there are only 6 or 7 that I find useful enough to install.

One is about 900MB, but the rest are much much smaller (< 100MB). None of them are games.

I like my setup. It's all I need.

Either you know how to manage storage space, or you don't.

Could not have said it any better myself.

16GB is more than enough for me on both my 5s and rMini. Having all my music stored via iCloud is a huge bonus. Plus, I only store a few downloaded movies on my rMini. Otherwise, I just stream.

It use to be enough, but now I need at least the 32 gig.

My music takes up a good 8 gigs already, and then with gaming apps now being around 1-2 gigs, I need the extra space.
