I just noticed something kinda crazy, tomorrow's NCAA BCS National Championship game will not be on ABC. It will be broadcast on ESPN.

Welp - the big game is on tonight. Predictions?

I say Auburn by 17.

Normally I'd like to see Auburn win, but the whole (s)Cam Newton/potential corruption of the athletic association thing has me torn about pulling for them. Not to say that's he's not an amazing athlete to watch though! I'm actually feeling a bit of an upset coming, and gonna say Ducks by a bit...say 6 points or less. I feel they might have the better overall team, top to bottom. Seem to have more speed at more positions than Auburn, and I think they probably have the better overall coaching staff. Auburn seems to hang on the performance of Newton (see all the games they've been behind in while he was being more or less contained), and if he could be neutralized an entire game, I don't see where they can make up the missing offense. Then again...no team so far has been able to contain him an entire game though. But just to go against that, I'm picking Oregon. Plus...conveniently enough, if Oregon wins, there's nothing for the NCAA to have to "strip" from Auburn later on. I'm not saying that the NCAA would purposely have a game rigged, but with the BS we've seen from them this year, I also wouldn't totally rule it out, either. Not when it would help them save face. But that's a stretch of a conspiracy theory!

Ok, so does the Mad Hatter finally go to Michigan this time?

Les Miles anticipates Michigan meeting

That article makes no sense to me. It seems like it contradicts itself several times. It says that Miles anticipates a meeting with Michigan, then later says Miles himself says he is happy at LSU. It also states that Miles says he hasn't been contacted by anyone from Michigan about talking about the vacancy, yet a meeting is expected Tuesday? Huh? How can there be an expected meeting that one of the parties doesn't know about?

Welcome to the mind of the Mad Hatter :p

Here we go ... The National Championship

Two undefeated teams for all the Glory ... This should be as good as Football gets.

Go Auburn

If Auburn wins it will be consider a lost in 2 years.
Auburn is going down. No way in hell Newton is not going to get busted.

Cam Newton is hands down the best player in the country not yet in the NFL

he may be good but does not change the fact that he is a cheater and should of been banned from playing.
He left Florida from what i read to get away from academic cheating charges.
Fact of the matter is the guy is a cheater and with factor like that it looks pretty clear he is should be ineligibly to play. No getting around the fact that there was a lot of under handed stuff going on. You have the Mississippi deal which is a known fact and that alone should of prevent Newton from playing.

May be true ... Many great college players have taken stuff before their time in the pros. ... for me it does not matter ... I still want to see him play.

wow ... they have now both thrown interceptions.

does not matter. He is a cheat and not someone ANYONE should use a role model. He cheated his way threw school academically and got caught at least twice.
Cheated to be able to play. That is not someone anyone should look up to.

ugh!!!! I am so hating scam newton. I hope he gets treated like a child molestor in prison when he gets to the pros. I think he'll be another vick. great physical skills but doesn't have the brains to win it all in the pros
