Snagged for the same thing in April.This guy is an idiot.
Not going to argue that. Alderson (Mets GM) didn't say it but the announcers on the game have said they would be very surprised if he ever threw another pitch for the team.
After giving up 5 runs in the first inning, the Yankees scored 21 runs and pitched 8.1 innings of no-hit baseball. Crazy.
How can you hate a team. Dislike yes but hate. Strong words considering you probably have no relationship with the team. I'm a Yankees fan but I don't hate the Red Sox. I dont root for them. And I hope they lose every game though.
Some would say they have had a relationship with a team. Going to the games, watching them on TV, buying their merchandise... Doing this year in and year out, researching them, memorizing the players stats. Dedication, time spent, along with money spent. Getting autographs etc. To me that could be a relationship, one sided of course, but still a relationship.
I only really "hate" two teams, but that is on the football side. I dislike the Sox's, but I love the history and watching the Sox's and Yank's battle it out year after year. Of course this year has been especially nice given the standings of both teams!
Meh, it sucks, but we did just fine without Holliday for a month.
Our problem isn't going to be losing Holliday. Our problem is that the rest of our offense seems to have disappeared.
So I hear. A guy who won't pitch for a year yet and a guy that's a better 2B than SS but was played at SS much of the season so far for a guy that can fill a possible gap in the OF (Lagares having TJ surgery NOW?) and has an upside offensively? I'll take it. I liked Gomez when he was with the Mets. The only concern is there's no backup SS unless they bring up Reynolds or feel Wright can fill that role when he returns.
Appears Flores just found out he was traded, and hasn't been taken out of the game yet. The **** kind of move is that.
I wonder what could be in his medical records that killed it. The guy had Tommy Johns a couple months ago, what exactly were the Brewers expecting?
Twitter is now reporting that the failed physical was for Gomez hip. Rosenthal is reporting that the Mets backed out of the deal.
They were not rumors, the deal was in place, The Mets pulled the plug at the last minute.
Your GM let your short stop hang in the wind on the field.
It was even announced on the Brewers website.
Either way, the Mets probably should have removed Flores from that game once he started to get emotional.
