2015 MLB Season Thread

At first I thought it said a single team went 15 straight home game wins (I was thinking Mets or Cardinals), but upon closer examination it was 15 teams all winning at home which is even more unlikely.

My optimism is gone.

HOWEVER, fun fact: the Braves are the first team this season beat the same team 10 times (Miami, but who's keeping track). Theres always next year

I'm really loving the next gen of home grown talent they have coming up. Looking forward to Sept when we get to see Refs, Judge, Sanchez, hopefully Slade as well. I like that they're trying to keep this crop together. And Dellin...well, what can you even say about him other than he is a blessing to this team.

Have no fear, the Rockies (worst team in baseball, currently 25 games under .500 with a win percentage of .398) are in town.

Have I mentioned how glad I am about football season beginning?

I was watching that game was just shocked at the offensive output. Wright getting it started off the DL with a HR in his first AB, seven of the eight starting position players had HR's (2 from Flores, SERIOUSLY with this guy?). It was just unreal. It's not like they were cheap HR's - Wright's was 428', d'Arnaud's was 464', Cespedes put one off the facing of the upper deck right in front of where Wright's went.

The Nats lost today also so in reality we didnt lose a game still 6 games over and in 1st place. And to the nay sayers, we beat the red sox at the WS back in 86' remember? whats even more embarrassing is getting beat by the blue jays and getting knocked down to second...

How is it embarrassing when the Jays loaded up. Now losing to a last place team. That is embarrassing.

This from a kid that is raving about win streaks. Beat the teams you are supposed to beat. The same goes for my Yankees.
