McLaren's only issue today was the strategy. White walls were only competitive in a small window then the track temp dropped and they should have switched

Get the super soft tyres out of the way under the safety car.
They weren't good on the super soft for more than a few laps.
Not that. I'm referring to the seemingly unnecessary pit stop around lap 25, which dropped him out of 3rd place.

LH's car was damaged and his tyres were literally toast at the end of stints. Damaged floor, t-tray, barge boards etc.

So Vettel has a gearbox penalty already. He will be pushed back 5 places after qualifying.
These penalties are not helping the sport. It makes the qualifying and racing less exciting for the fans. Oh look Vettel's doing well, maybe he'll be on pole? Oh no wait a minute he has a penalty so he'll be 5th at best.

Whilst I agree it does force the teams to be as effecient as possible.

I do think the teams should be allowed to use there allotment first though

Not sure why Hamilton's engine failure is funny? Might as well tell Nico he's won and give him the day off.
I'll still watch, but the winner has never been so obvious.

It'll be a good race. I don't think nico will walk away with this one. 2nd corner will be interesting.

What were you worried about? You got your McClaren parade...
Sorry for late reply. Had to wait for the highlights.
Given his qualifying a great result for Lewis. However my prediction of Nico driving off in to the distance was pretty accurate. Unless he picks up a couple of DNF's the championship is virtually over.
Glad for Kimi to get up there again, but not sure he'd have been there had Vettel not had a couple of taps from his favourite Russian!

And yes good to see the McClarens progress. 6th is pretty impressive. But for them to both get points (in a dry race) shows they are moving in the right direction.

I think he's matured a lot. Given the luck he's had this year, I think he's carried himself quite well.

I like a lot of the current drivers. Button and Hamilton are the main ones I root for (being English).
But I like Kimi a lot as well. Just like his attitude I guess.

Honda looks to have caught up with Renault in the power department...just in time for Renault to upgrade next race.
