2020 Macbook Air order status

I ordered a 16GB model on 3/20 and it arrived on Friday. What was Apple’s shipping estimate?

4/13 to 4/20. Just checked again and apparently I actually ordered it on 3/26.

My credit card finally has a pending charge though! Progress.

I ordered 3/28, 16gb and still no cc charge. shipping to Canada. oh the anticipation!

The status page still says Processing but my credit card finally has a pending charge from Apple. Never wanted someone to take my money so badly 😂

Ordered mine yesterday. i5/16/256. It's going to be about two weeks. Kinda funny that the base would only take a few days. Surely they realized a lot of people would upgrade to the i5? Why wouldn't you for $100?

Same. I upgraded the processor only. Supposed to be arriving by this Friday the 10th, for a total of nearly 3 weeks waiting. 256GB storage is sufficient, but in hindsight, I might have just got the step up to the i5 quad/512GB model to have had it right away.

...Eh, who am I kidding? $200 for an extra 256GB? I'm way too cheap for that! LOL

Ordered i5/8/512 on 3/28. Would have done 16GB, but shipping times were 3+ weeks out for anything beyond a base model and I needed it faster due to wife & I both being sent to WFH status and only having one computer in the house.

Estimated delivery was 4/7-4/14. Zero movement. No pending charges. No change in order status.

Hoping to see some kind of update soon. Never waited this long for an Apple order.

Same as mine. Nothing seems to be moving. still sitting in Shanghai at the FedEx facility. It needs to get on a plane for the states, not sitting in a facility in China. Hopefully we will see some movement soon.

same. I ordered base model i3/8/512. I just bought a nice iMac last year and just need something for occasional use outside the home/living room. Plus with WFH status and 3 kids, I needed some more computing ability.

anyway, I ordered on 3/30 and nothing has happened since. Still processing and no charges on the card. My original delivery window is 4/7-4/14. I’ve never gone beyond the first day in the delivery window ever. So I guess the shutdown is hurting them. Last year with the iMac I waited 10 days to delivery.

I’m surprised that my base model MBA is still in processing phase, given I ordered on the 26th of March. Apple still shows an April 3-10 delivery window, so maybe they’ll yet make it in time. I’m guessing they’re battling limited airfreight carrier availability right now. I live within the flight path of O’Hare and I’m only seeing a handful of jets coming and going each day. Oh well, it will get here when it gets here.

the email from Apple says delivery BOS April 8. But click to tracking and it says April 2. I’m guessing it won’t be early.

my custom build i7/16gb/1tb is "processing" since the day of announcement.

Currently "at nearest depot to delivery" but confusingly listed as "Sydney" when i'm in Perth (TNT have a depot in Perth).

Commit date from TNT is still before 6pm 8th April (to my correct address), so i should have it tomorrow hopefully.

This is excruciating! Ordered an i5/16GB/512GB in Silver on March 25. Apple stated delivery estimate at April 10-17. Credit card charged April 2nd but still hasn’t moved from “Order in Progress”. I’m in NYC.

I know with world events, this is the last thing I should be stressed about. But this new MBA is set to replace a venerable mid-2012 MBA that I need to redeploy to my 1st grader for remote learning. Using a 7th gen iPad for that has done a better job than I ever thought, but we need to get a more permanent solution in place.

Order delivery just got pushed back two additional weeks. Ordered on 3/23 for a SG i7/16/1TB and order has been in processing since then and was scheduled to deliver 4/7 through 4/13 and this morning says 4/21 - 4/28. I am wondering if it is that particular config since I have not seen many people that ordered that one commenting that it shipped. Anyone else with this config seeing something similar?
