2020 Macbook Air order status

I ordered March 30th and they still haven't charged the card but the delivery date has always been April 7-14th. If they ship it out today maybe they'll make it. I don't have much hope to see it by Tuesday at this rate though.

When did they charge your card? Overnight?
 
Mine is spending the night in Chengdu. It seems to be having a great time. I've always wanted to visit Sichuan province; it's a shame it's not able to take any photos or grab some food to sneak into the packaging.

Edit: After chilling out in Chengdu for a while and getting EU import approval, my new laptop took a flight to the Netherlands and is currently enjoying the tulips around Arnhem.

They charged it yesterday afternoon. I am in California.
 
It’s supposed to be delivered today, but fedex has it as “label created” for the whole morning instead of “out for delivery”...guess it’s not coming :/

I got the updates this morning saying mine had arrived in Memphis at 5:11am and was released at 8:17am. Should be on the plane for Texas later this afternoon and they have now updated my delivery date back to tomorrow by 10:30am. Great news for all of us in this situation. Let's keep fingers crossed no more delays.

You are spot on — it arrived in the Netherlands today and DHL is showing it as scheduled for delivery by end of the day tomorrow (I’m in the UK). Fingers crossed!

Ordered 20/03
Shipping 1/04
had been there for a week apple claiming it should come between 9-16/04, now suddenly the status changed to
Processed at AMSTERDAM 8/04
Expected to be delivered 9/04 by the end of the day (I'm in Poland).

They have really raised my hopes now, I hope they won't let me down tomorrow.

Did the MBA went straight from ZhengZhou to somewhere in Canada to your home.

I'm in Quebec city, that's why I'm asking since we both ordered the MBA the same day or so
 
Switched from today to pending...definitely going to have to call BB and get a refund for the next day shipping I paid for.

When did you place your order? & when did your order change from “processing” to “preparing to ship,” if you know. Asking cause I had a similar window but haven’t had any updates, and I am eager to get my MBA! Need it for class, currently doing work on my iPad and it’s not working great.
 
Email just came in that said my MBA has shipped!! Coming through UPS. My window is April 13-20 but Apple is telling me it will be delivered on April 20th. Hoping they're being conservative with the date but at least it's finally on it's way.

(ordered a SG i5/16/512 on march 26th)

Interesting I also got an email 30 minutes ago that mine (for my grand daughter) has shipped with same April 20 delivery date. Also i5/16/256 and I ordered March 25. She's going to be a little disappointed because original window was April 10-17. I wonder how it's shipped that will take 12 days? Ain't no Amazon Prime :)

which model? ordered i5/16/256 same day and no charge on cc yet
 
My card just charged and it’s in preparing to ship finally. There’s a certain relief about, I was actually talking to Apple yesterday as there was a hold for an initial charge this disappeared and I wanted to be sure all was ok. They said it was and less than 24hours later the status changed.
