2020 Macbook Air order status

The speed the states get their deliveries against what we get in Europe is cause for serious jealousy! I get why it's the case, but at the same time. I am jealous!

Just adding my schedule below to support the general consensus that the shipping process is slower than many of our previous Apple experiences (for obvious pandemic reasons):

Config - i5/16GB/1TB [very excited to upgrade from my 2012 Air]

Ordered Mar 25 (processing); delivery estimate Apr 10-17
Card charged Apr 3 (processing)
Moved to preparing to ship (Apr 7)
Shipped (Apr 9); delivery estimate updated to Apr 20 :(

Fingers crossed that the actual delivery date is earlier, as other folks have reported!

Mine was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (ordered on 23) but now UPS says "Rescheduled delivery. Check back later for new date. So looks like i won't have it over the weekend to play with after all. :(

not necessarily, same thing happened to several of us yesterday and it turned out it updated to same day and time and was still delivered today.

This morning, when I checked on the UPS website, the delivery scheduled went from deliver next Monday to next Wenesday. 1 hour later, from Wenesday to Tuesday and now, from Tuesday to Monday.

Take it easy, NO ONE know what's going on. Hang in there !

Nice. Just got textmessage from DHL that my MacBook Air is arriving tomorrow instead of next thursday (April 16)

Changed to Shipped

Timeline:
- Order: March 21st
- Reservation on creditcard: March 30th
- Preparing for shipment: April 1st
- Shipped: April 2nd
- Delivery: April 16th
- Updated Delivery: April 10 (received text message from DHL on April 9)

Location: Netherlands
Carrier: DHL
 
Still absolutely nothing -- ordered 3/28 in the States.

Original shipping estimate was 4/7 - 4/14.

Stuck on "Order in Progress" with no charge to CC and no movement. I don't see any way that this arrives in this window. It's frustrating sitting here trying to work on an iPad while the wife uses the other MacBook for her distance teaching.

Similar situation but ordered on 3/29 in Canada. No charge on CC is making me worried now
 
Same. Still nothing. Orders March 30 with April 7-14th estimate. Can’t see that happening now. I know the orders sit in China for a few days after being shipped.
 
I placed a BTO order 3-20 and was told it would arrive approx 4-9

It's been sitting in a warehouse for quite some time. Oh well, was likely going to return anyway
 
I ordered at 4/1 but nothing happen until today. So I canceled my order at Apple and ordered a new one at amazon with 5% discount. it will arrive this Saturday.
 
Mine was supposed to be here by 10:30 am, it’s now just supposed to be delivered today. Delays are understandable but I’m counting down the minutes / hours for shiny new thing

I’m pretty much in the same spot — I ordered from Apple on the educator discount + Apple Card, but I’m willing to pay more from Amazon if I don’t see some kind of movement on the order in the next 24 hours.

I get that there’s an outbreak, but the lack of communication or any kind of update from Apple on this for almost 13 days is unacceptably bad customer service — especially given there’s absolutely no way they’re going to hit the 4/14 delivery window end date right now.

I ordered on 4/1. My window is 20-28 May. Still processing. For us living in non-US or even non-EU countries, it looks like we‘ll have to wait a lot. I hope you can get it as soon as possible. I know there is an outbreak but I need it for schoolwork and other stuff. My online education will be finished before it arrives.

I was in the exact same boat today and gave up and canceled the order, and ordered the same configuration from Best Buy, ate a $30 shipping charge and now it's coming on Monday. I also ordered 3/28 and had a 4/6 to 4/13 window, it never made it out of processing or charged my card.

Wow, that's crazy. I would have canceled too. Which config was it that you had ordered?
