I hear that buddy! I have MyUPS from something before so they’re sending emails anytime there’s a change. Not that it stops me checking! 😁 As for customs, if it says World Ease on your UPS tracking this is worth a read and should give you some mental relief on customs and that!

Sorry, I see that’s for Ireland but should be a UK one too as Ireland and UK generally have similar rules on imports/export customs rules.

Ordered mine (i5/16GB/1TB Space Grey) on April 1 for delivery to Texas and so far it's been a whole lotta nothing. However, I just checked my CC and there's a pending charge so that gives me hope.

That’s great! Mine is still preparing to ship but I’m hoping they get it on the next batch out of there with yours. I have the 7-14th window too.
 
on day 2 with my i5/8/256 and really enjoying what I'm seeing so far

the keyboard is a delight on my fingers forearms and brain

and True Tone / Touch ID are nice additions from my NTB

waiting felt endless but now its here! Catalina is working pretty decently so far for me, but I'm going to approach point updates very skeptically

Mine was in customs supposedly for 8 days. Ordered 3-20. Honestly I think stupid UPS lost it. Already have called Apple twice and they say they can't call it lost until several more weeks to give UPS time to locate. So wish they used Fedex!!!!
 
Finally in “preparing to ship” phase! Says express delivery but I’d imagine it’ll be more than three days with the situation.
(Ordered base model April 1, delivery window April 9-16)

I'm not sure UPS knows what is going on. Mine was supposed to be delivered today but yesterday received exception notice and now it says Rescheduled delivery with not delivery date. The tracker says it's been in China since April 2nd. I'm betting it's lost.
 
So Apple's site is still saying April 20th but I checked UPS today and it's saying April 14th!!

Package is currently in Hong Kong.

Thought I would spend more time in “preparing to ship” mode, but it’s off! Apple says it’ll be here by Tuesday (04/14). UPS doesn’t have a window yet, but the label has been created. Though the location says USA, I thought for sure it would start out in China, but I’m happy to finally get updates. Will post a final update about timeline when it is delivered. Hang in there everyone!

thanks... I’m a day behind you (ordered April 2, base model) so I’m expecting the same treatment tomorrow, lol.

I’m march 30 order with base model gold and still in preparing to ship. Hopefully mine will go through while I’m sleeping so I can use it next week for teaching. Of course the following week is a “vacation” and I won’t need it as much.

I think stupid UPS found a good deal by loading our mbas on a princess cruise ship as they’re empty these days and is taking in our laptops by boat.

Why would you be mad. You can return MacBook Air if a new MacBook Pro is released. Apple is being relaxed with return period of devices since their stores are closed in USA or wherever you live in the world.

Preparing to ship happened for me at 1pm Eastern Daylight Time. So it’s around 1 in the morning in China. I’m still waiting for shipped. I ordered an iMac last year and I believe it changed overnight my time. So I’m not sure. Seems like it can happen whenever.

Preparing to ship (I didn’t get a notification for it, but I check regularly) happened at 8pm CT and then got a “shipped” notification from Apple around 10pm CT. But that’s just Apple. So far no movement with UPS, just “waiting for shipment,” so I’m not sure how coordinated it is.

I would have ordered originally through Amazon for 5% cash back or Best Buy for 0% financing offers, but unfortunately neither of those places allow any customization from the stock models. So the Apple wait is my only option for 16GB RAM...

Prepared to ship/credit card charge about 1am April 11 (Saturday)

Shipped about noontime (Saturday, 4/11) Coming via Fed EX from Tennessee

Expected Monday 4/13 in Texas.
