Seriously? Why is mine still in preparing to ship with 4/7-4/14 window? I just don’t get Apple logistics.
So my order has been "Shipment information received" at "EINDHOVEN - WAALWIJK" with DHL since 2nd April. I ordered on 22nd March and it dispatched on 2nd April but there's been no update since. Estimated delivery day is Thursday 16th still. Very frustrating because I see some DHL orders including those after mine appear to have been delivered.
Anyone else in this same situation? It's been nearly a week and a half so starting to worry now...

i ordered i3 base model space gray.... on 4/4... says arrives 4/14-4/21... order is still in "processing" stage status
Sent back my i3 on 4/21, Apple received it 4/23, should get refund in 5 days.
Order the i5 Model, on 4/20, Still processing.

I'm in almost exact same situ...ordered 23/3, 'shipped' 1/4 via DHL, been stuck on 'Shipment information received' at Eindhoven ever since. Delivery date listed by apple as 16/4.
I did a chat w/ Apple earlier today to ask why no shipping updates - reply was you only get updates when it arrives in Eindhoven (ie for last 1-1.5 days of the process). I pushed him for info on where my actual order was currently and he eventually said hub in China, approx 2 hours away from factory. So seems like they've just been sitting in a transport hub for past 12 days going nowhere. Looks like they're prioritising other territories.
I had a similar situation, ordered on 4/1, just ended the processing stage yesterday, so 10 days processing. But Apple says it’ll get to me by Tuesday, so I guess after the “preparing to ship” phase everything moves much faster.
Also ordered the base model, but on 4/5. Still processing but same delivery window.
Does it make any difference when placing an order through the education site? I'm a teacher and took advantage of the educator discount so I'm wondering if that is causing some hold up.
perhaps because My 3/30 order hasn’t been shipped yet while others have (same base model). I am also a teacher who ordered through the education site. It could also be due to color or just chance. I did speak with an apple representative who mentioned that the new macbook airs have been backordered due to the virus.
In my instance, it was to get the education discount, making it $899. Add that to the 3% Apple Cash back ($27ish) and it’s cheaper than we can do at Best Buy or Amazon.
$120 might not be much of a discount to you, but it is to my 18 yr old.
Exact same situation as me, it’s really starting to get annoying. The most information I managed to get out of the Apple support chat was last week when they mentioned that it was in China and due to arrive in Eindhoven on the 9th April. Obviously that didn’t happen. Its really frustrating to see people who ordered before us already receiving them 🥺
edit: I should add, I ordered 22nd, shipped April 2nd, and have the same expected delivery date of April 16th in UK. Apple have said it’s still on track for that....
Same thing here. It was asked to UPS to have the delivery today (saturday). It's 7pm and nobody ring at my door 
Same here, did the education site to save money. Broke grad student. I wasnt planning on getting a new laptop until the end of the summer, but classes going online put a wrench in that, so plans changed! And it’s not the shipping I expected, but luckily my professors are all forgiving at the moment.
Same here. I’m also trading in my 2014 Air, and Apple offered me a better trade in value than Best Buy. That, plus the educator discount, made ordering directly from Apple the most logical decision.

Still no update from UPS. Still in China and no Eta. I contacted UPS and they have nothing. Apple said i need to wait. It's taken the fun out of this purchase.
The Apple website is giving me errors when I check my order now, but I still have the UPS tracker open.
Currently 'In Transit' from Chek Lap Kok in Hong Kong, as of 4:47AM (their time, I think) I'm assuming this is in transit to the UK, as I've got a delivery date set for 15/04.

Same here. Apple website is working. UPS is saying the below. According to UPS once it's left the EPZ and into their network, you might not see anything for a couple of days at a time. I have the same delivery date in Ireland.. so I wonder how they swing that one... I guess we'll find out!?

We certainly will! I've always had 'UKMail' as the courier here in England, so I'm not sure if this will be a UPS to England, UKMail to me kind of thing, or a UPS all the way through. Either way I'm assuming it'll land in England today and then go through the hubs to wherever it needs to be!
Usually I wouldn't mind An Post (Irish mail) picking up the last stage, but they're backed up at the moment and are reporting an additional 2 days to deliveries as I guess they prioritise staff and medical supplies (which I totally get). But I do see the same UPS truck outside my apartment everyday around lunchtime, so I am hoping it'll be on that come Wednesday!
I think my package is lost at this point.. There hasn't been any movement in a couple of days.. Any one see this?

Mine's now been through Dubai and is in Cologne at the minute. Definitely looks like it'll be coming all the way with UPS.
It's getting better travel time than I am this year! Hope it has a pint for me.
It’s certainly looking like it bud! Mine is still in Hong Kong.. I think I’d take a pint over the MBA to be honest 😂
