2020 Macbook Air order status

Good luck to everyone waiting for their MBA’s to ship / deliver. Hopefully Apple and the various freight services can get caught up. I‘m pretty lucky as mine (or rather one of my kid’s) MBA is out for delivery right now, so he should have it today, which is pretty much at the far end of Apple’s initial delivery estimate.

I received notice that mine was updated, but when I checked nothing has changed. Still in China and not Scheduled delivery date. I chatted with Apple and they said they could only see a tentative date of the 16th. I'm no longer excited about getting my new laptop. I guess I could use my current one a little longer and upgrade later.
 
Well, bit the bullet and ordered a SG i5/8GB/256 - delivery 30 April - 7 May (UK). Bought through the Apple Education Store - difference over i3 was £90 so decided to go for the i5. Latterly been using iPads, the only Macbook I’ve bought (and still have) is a 2009 MBP with a “whopping“ 2GB of Ram !

I feel like this is the perfect Mac laptop feature wise for the price for people that aren't heavy upgraders on Mac side. never been a better time to dive in imo

Preparing to ship 4/13
Delivery window still April 27-29 (Didn't change after CC charge).
Destination: Spain (Europe).

EDIT: Updated to shipping on 04/14 during early morning. Estimated Delivery 04/27 (UPS).

Shipped 04/13 via FedEx who says delivery tomorrow 04/14

on the other hand I ordered an iPad Pro 11” on 04/01 that’s still not arrived and no updates since 04/09 when it arrived in Kentucky
 
Just saw a departure scan from HK at 11:36 am local. UPS maintaining delivery by end of day tomorrow. Here’s hoping! 🤞🏻
 
Ordered 27th March, Shipped 9th April UPS for delivery 17th to 23rd April. UPS advise delivery 15/4. Left China on 9th, Hong Kong 13th and has currently left Germany bound for the UK. i5, 8GB, 256GB.

Just noticed Apple have changed the delivery day to match with UPS (15/04). Orignal window was 22/-28/04. The shipment must be going direct from HK to Ireland to make that happen.. then again I know nothing about logistics... :)

Shipped last night using UPS Express Saver. Currently in customs.
Apple says April 22nd Delivery Date to Indianapolis. Lets see.

New Edit: UPS rescheduled delivery to 04/20. (1 week sooner)

Mine went from HK to Dubai to Cologne in one day, and left Cologne this morning at 4AM and they're saying I'll have it by EOD tomorrow!

Yours will probably follow the same I reckon! I'm getting excited now!

I'd say that's a safe bet! I can deal with Thursday no probs! Considering original estimates were next week! I am itching to get my hands on it too!

UPS just updated delivery to Monday - April 20th.
