Chiefs and Broncos both 0 - 2...
I don't care about the broncos, they can win or lose, it really doesn't bother me. The Chiefs on the other hand its always nice, but I won't be lulled into a false sense of security. They always seem to start off slow. They'll be hitting their stride by mid season and most likely be dominating come the end of the season

OFF TOPIC: I'm not a fan of McAfee at all. He lessens College Game Day.
I agree, when he was with the colts, I liked him, he brought some energy, was fun in interviews and was generally well liked. Now that he has his own show, ESPN, and on college day. I just don't like him, there's only so much of that sophmoric behavior one can tolerate.

Problem is that he did a slightly better than mediocre job considering he was playing against 3rd-string and players who won't even be on the team by the time the season starts. IOW, he should have done much better.

If he's even on the team, he probably will start eventually. Not because he's any good, but because the Browns have no patience for anything. They throw rookie QBs to the wolves, and if they don't perform extremely well, they move on to the next QB on the roster. NOBODY is given time to get better, or get through an injury, etc.

We will all witness the same off-season and Draft next year as we saw this year with them. They'll get rid of Flacco, Watson, Sanders, Gabriel, and anyone else they may have. They will trade for another washed-up vet, and draft one or two (likely) overrated QBs. One of them will start the season, but will be benched by the 5th game at most.

Then we'll start the cycle again, except they will have also fired the head coach by then and any QB on the roster will have to learn a whole new system that doesn't suit the players they have.

It's really quite comical, if not predictable.
Late to the party on this thread, but here goes:

Because Shedeur is a 3rd stringer as well...

If you were a RAIDER you would ... ;)

That might be the best scenario for Sanders. People say Da Bears is where QB goes to die, but I believe the Clowns is the QB destroyer. Mayfield and Watson is the strongest evidence of this. Mayfield has become an above average QB since leaving Breveland. And Watson went from a top 5 QB to a dumpster fire as soon as the landed on the roster. 8 first round worth of picks wasted on QB (Johnny Football, Weedon, Couch, Quinn and Watson's 4 pick fleecing).

So why did Flacco not succumb to the Clown's QB curse? I think it's because he's set in his ways.🤭 Joe will continue his YOLO throws no matter who he plays for.
I think Watson began his slide with the Texans and all of his off-field trouble.

Mark my words, its only a matter of time until he starts

Yeah, from what I've read/watched, O'Brian held his hand in that he spoon fed him everything. I guess he doesn't spend a lot of time watching films, trying to be better at reading defenses and learning his own plays.

Turf toe for Joe Burrow... sorry for the rhyme ...

Sad, but I always wondered about his durability, but this injury shouldn't be the end of the world for Cincy

I feel the same - At least for a bit anyway. He may lose the job after a bit, but it'll happen.

Same - seems to be made of glass as they say... what a shame. I blame that stupid turf they play on.

I'm playing soccer in a league that uses that type of field and I hate that surface. Every quick stop or turn feels like I'm about to rip up my legs or ankles.

I was surprised by the Giants/Cowboys game - not that the Cowboys won, but rather the giants almost beat them.

I thought heading into the season, Pittsburgh defense was supposed to be vaunted, but that didn't seem the case yesterday. They also made some mental mistakes that largely cost them the game. Rodger's being the zen master that he is, was unbothered by the missteps and lack of focus. The steelers are coming to NE, and if they struggle against the Patriots, I'll be shocked. If the steelers are as good as everyone says they are, they should easily handle the Pats.

Speaking of the Pats, they looked good, but given how bad the Fins have been, it was really disappointing that the Patriots almost lost this game. While i get a division rival will play them the hardest, their inability to stop the dolphins from marching down the field is a cause for concern.

Steelers will be a good test to see where the Patriots are in the rebuilding. The Patriots sloppiness against Miami was hard to watch but really not unexpected given all the off-season changes and the newly installed offense. On the positive, the Patriots' did beat a team that was very desperate for an early season victory.

If they struggled against a team that is imploding, I have some serious doubts about the Steelers. They're not firing on all cylinders but they are a better team then Mia.

Tell me about it....ah well...

Loved every minute of the Seahawks vs Steelers game and watching Rodgers getting his a$@ whipped, especially after they barely managed to beat the Jets last week with Rodgers touting around in the press conference what a great player he still is and how people at the Jets can't see it and suck. Of course after they lost yesterday, he had to explain how his receiver screwed up and blew the game.

Meanwhile in Kansas, butterfinger Kelce is back to drop balls and not only drop them, but pass them straight into the arms of the defense for an INT. One missed FG, one INT by Kelce with a missed safe TD. 10 points lost. They need to do something about their dysfunctional offense, this year. And maybe it's time for Kelce to retire. He reminds me a lot of Gronk playing in Tampa, where all he did was running around, but caught a TD when it mattered in the SB.

Man, the end of that Bronco's game S.U.C.K.E.D.
not for the colts!
I watched- or had the the entire game on, (but was drawing on the iPad)
as they looked great defensively once they figured out their offensive tactics.
my dilemma-head baffle is "why commit a senseless foul on a impossible field goal"?
special teams is their achilles heel!

they look good though
and hopefully lost that "stupid game" they they always do every season since 2015.

Leave Taylor Swift's fiancee alone;); the man is in love.😘 I remember how I was months after getting engaged: head in the clouds, pretty much oblivious to my surroundings. The only difference is I wasn't paid millions, so screwing up now and again didn't hurt my company much. For $1M a week, I'd would be focused on work. But then again, if my fiancee was a billionaire, a few million is couch cushion change.
And maybe it's time for Kelce to retire.
Yep. Retire and spend his time keeping Taylor happy. You wouldn't want to upset her or she'll write a song trash talking you.😬

Right now, every team is better than Miami...
I'm surprised at the long list of 0-2 teams. That will shrink next week, I don't think every 0 and 2 team will lose next week

this happens to the worst of us!

last century I entered a road bicycle race where I trained and was better that than the cyclists.
I had a Tour de France bicycle (Pinarello Banesto) and confidence.
then I was wining then mind wen too mew move-in girlfriend, the love of my life.
while climbing up a hill I let everyone pass me because I was love stricken!
so I quit racing and loved happy ever after
until she left for France, the next summer Never to return.......

but I'm very celebrity impaired/confused, since I don't watch TMZ or any tv shows,
now, how is Tyler Swift playing football?
he is tall thin blonde, correct?
doesn't he have enough cash and grammy awards to keep him busy?
