I had that issue. So you do not check the box to activate Nils but have yes on for the floating panel? Thats what i see to do if there is something else, please let me know.

EDIT...hmm, doing that way ,im getting no notifications. Im doing something wrong.

er, hold on *checks tablet*. make sure you have nils service on in setting>security>notification access

go into NiLS app. turn on Floating panel if not on. if you have lockscreen notifications off, turn them on in setting>security>enable widgets.

that should do it. :)

Just noticed the following:
The small details..Accidental palm resting on an iPhone causes no taps on the screen, but on the HTC One M8 yes. Apple creates products with love.

These small details make the iPhone so unique...You can say whatever you want about the limitations of iOS, but Apple is the king of attention to detail.

Apple creates products with love.

LOL  It's just a phone, not some magical gadget from the Land of Oz.

Any other manufacturer can put together the exact same thing. You just don't like large phones, that's ok. But imagine the HTC One M8 shrunk down to a 4.3" screen size or so, you'd probably be in love with that. IMO Sense 6 Kit Kat trumps iOS7 any day of the week to me.

I created a comparison sheet to help me with my decision. Please find it attached.

The scores are of course subjective. I have grouped the excel sheet in many categories and have included a weight for each feature. There are two scores, one without any weight and one with the weight (importance) that is appropriate in my situation.
It's a tight case, but at the end the iPhone wins..You can use this excel as a guide in making up your own decision, if you are in similar dilemma.

I love Apple too much :)
I love OS X, adored Steve Jobs(

That's just scary..yikes. It's great to like a device etc but to love it? Also, adored Steve Jobs?? Did you know him personally and have a close relationship?

----------

I have my work exchange account on my phone too. Using google calendar and stock email. Nine is a highly recommended 3rd party exchange client. I've been looking at it, but I really like the stock android email client and haven't felt the need to change yet.

Nine is a great app! Although the stock exchange app works well on my Moto X I like that I can schedule peak times for email.

This is something iOS has never been able to do.

----------

Apple is the king of attention to detail.

Yeah the antenna in the iPhone 4 worked really well....

However, I mostly agree with your point though but it doesn't mean Apple can't make mistakes just like any other vendor.

I don't miss one thing about IOS. Android does everything IOS can do and does it better in the process. 4 years ago everyone i knew had an iphone 4, today i don't know 1 person that has one, they have ALL moved to Android. Need i say more?

I can't talk about my connection to Steve..

I especially like the Safari tab reloading on the iPad Air. Apple must have put a lot of effort to make the tabs reload when you switch with only 2 or 3 tabs open. :p

My note 3 does that too. I guess Samsung pays attention to detail also?

Also why would your palm even rest on the screen of a phone that small? That's just such a weird point to make......

So, does "3 weeks with Android are enough..I miss my iPhone so much..." mean that OP is keeping the Android phone?

As a side note, who cares about that?

My note 3 don't do that, don't remember if any of my iPhones did it but I bet that If android phones responded to a palm rest and didn't respond purple day that the touch screen is terrible or something to do with lag lol

If you like ios that much why waste time that you won't get back trying another device.

What are you even saying?

I though he meant that thing where if your hand is slightly touching the screen the phone will ignore it so you can touch other things. My note 3 does that.

Lol autocorrect, my note 3 don't do it :) if I touch the screen it will recognize it either be gently etc.

What I'm saying is that if iPhones did not do this thing and Android did people will say it's something wrong with the phones os.

Btw I have palm gestures enabled so maybe that's why my phone always respond to a touch.

Lol okay then I was so confused at your post at first...

Umm no it doesn't. I just had a note 3 and sold it for a m8 now back to my iPhone 5. But it went crazy opening apps when the above mentioned was done.

You're correct. Android does not have this feature which is extremely useful on a tablet.

Maybe I wrote it wrong. I meant that if my hand accidentally touches the edge of the screen, the touches get registered.

No, you wrote it correctly and I understood what you meant and I agreed, it is a great feature that Android does not have.
