Can someone access their camera and photos apps? I updated using the TU method, ran GP and it was working except could not access photos. So I re-updated using TU method, but before running GP accessed my camera and photo apps without issue.
Once I re-applied GP photo and camera apps stopped working. Any tips or links would be appreciated.
EDIT: nvm i found a post from late last year on another site that talks about going in and deleting all of the photos from APPLE100 folder.
I deleted the files and now photos and camera app no longer crash.

Redsn0w isn't working at all for me. My iPhone was made in week 43, which is doesn't specify if that's newer or not, it's the range 40 - 45 range it doesn't know. If I use the ipsw that's on the computer already, clicking No crashes the program and Yes gets and error, which then crashes the program. I'm lost.

The screen full of text is NORMAL. That is the jailbreak process completing. You need to be patient and just let it go all the way through. Once it hits the green poison logo after the apple logo your phone will be booting up and ready for use.
The JB has nothing to do with your GPS not working.
Its because you installed the ipad Baseband on your iphone.
Nothing you can do but wait for a fix or for Apple to update the stock 3GS BB version past 06.15.00
After a day of use, I'm impressed at the stability and everything. I have rebooted/hard reset at least 30 times today just to test and never a problem.
Also, if you want to remove the animated skull, navigate to here: /usr/bin/ and remove "animate" then reboot and it'll be the Apple logo again!

Using this Greenpoison or redsnow wont make any difference or make your iphone 3G any faster.
Unless you decide to install less stuff on it and hope it doesnt drag like a turtle but anything past 3.1.3 on the 3G will be slow.
Hell even 3.1.3 on the 3G feels terribly slow now that I got used to my i4.

So I just saw on Redmond pie that you can install GP over you tethered jailbreak and everything will be good to go. Has anyone has any success with that method?
