I used greenposi0n to re-JB my 3GS, but GPS problem is not solved.
Will a clean re-install and JB benefit? Anyone try?
Do you happen to have ipad baseband on your phone?

Use redsn0w to install cydia after the greenpois0n jailbreak. Just use redsn0w as usual, but check 'install cydia'. Worked for me.
Yeap, I had to use this method also. Works perfectly.
Run redsnow and choose only Cydia.
That got me past the "Failed" message and on to the "Complete" message on the Screenpois0n dialog, but it left my iPhone 4 with a screen full of scary looking computer text (like you get on a Windows blue screen of death).
When I rebooted the phone, there was no "Loader" app. All of my old apps *were* still there, however, so I'm assuming that the jailbreak actually failed. I mean, if it was successful, it would have wiped my existing apps, yes?

Hey guys is it worth re-jailbreaking my iPhone 3G iOS 4.2.1?
It's already pretty slow, i don't want it to slow down anymore. I would just like LockInfo on my phone.
Yes. Go to /usr/bin/ (either SSH in or download iFile via Cydia) and delete the file called 'animate'. Reboot and it shouldn't appear anymore (just the stock Apple logo).

I still have the skull...not animated tho
So I just saw on Redmond pie that you can install GP over you tethered jailbreak and everything will be good to go. Has anyone has any success with that method?
