6s Plus pauses / freezes / lag. Serious issue

Hard-press a grey area of your keyboard and then the cursor will appear. Don't let go of the screen, just slide the cursor around. I usually press my keyboard between the j and n keys.

hmm.. it doesn't work for me in between any keys. however, it does work when i do it directly on a letter key or the spacebar key. (i've been double-fingering this whole time like in all the examples i've seen. haha.. not like that.) but thanks for letting me know it's by pressure.

Mine was the same way. Got it launch day and it was freezing and lagging from time to time. Set as new and still had the problem for a day or so. And now it's perfectly fine. Idk what the issue was and I don't care. As long as it stopped lol. 128 GB Rose Gold 6 Plus AT&T.

Please tell us more about your call quality. What exactly do you mean that it "sucks"?
 
My 6S+ has a lag problem as well especially when exiting apps. It's will take a moment to return to the home screen. Very annoying. Anyone else with this problem?

Not that I've noticed. I have had animations switched off since iOS7 so perhaps they play a part?

I've had no performance issues on my 6s+ that I restored from an iTunes backup except for the first evening when I got the phone. I never needed to disable any features to help performance.

It's definitely not hardware related so stop trying to return phones. The software is buggy. iOS 9.1 beta 3 is the fix. Do it and you will be happy!!!

Running 9.1 B3 here and still have the lag and phone just shut down for no reason. Had to hold down the power and home button together to boot up!

I am on 9.0.2 and my phone randomly crashes to apple logo and reboots.

already setup as new and sometimes lags when unlocking from home screen.

alredy did a full restore and reset and reboot!
 
I just got off the line with tech support. They said engineering is aware of the issue and we gotta wait for a software update. Geez
 
Does this have to do with the fact it has to generate a much larger resolution (greater than 1080p) and then downscale it?

I wonder if 6s has this issue? I never saw this issue on the 6. But i just started hearing about it on the plus

What's odd is that some people are having problems and others like myself are not. You'd think if it was iOS itself that everyone would be having trouble.
 
i realise that the unlocking lag is more obvious when touch ID is enabled.... the status bar appears late

I do, mine is lagging too. I have noticed that after installing many apps. I will try to setup as new phone and see what happen.

1. Some are experiencing freezes, lag and stuttering while using their devices.

2. The rest are experiencing unlock lag of 1-2 seconds, but the performance of the device is smooth. (Thats my issue)
