I did, that's why I'm getting a replacement. The "genius" didn't know what the status bar was, lol.Best thing to do is to report it to Apple.
Wow that's sad. If only Steve were around.I did, that's why I'm getting a replacement. The "genius" didn't know what the status bar was, lol.
No, I meant that app. It works. You won't see 'Samsung' or 'TSMC', it will give one of the two codes I gave you. That app doesn't show me any info about the chip. Maybe you meant some other app.

It gives neither of the codes you mentioned.
Works for me on two phones, giving the chip code for both. Are you looking in the right part of the app?
The cpu info page gives nothing but usage and clock speed. The other entries are blank.
Which phone have you got? This app has worked for me on two 6S+.
6s+ 128
64G 6s+ on 9.1b4 and no delay.I have both 64 and 128 6S+ and the 64 doesn't have that 2 second delay the 128 does can anybody else confirm this? Haven't read all the pages to see what model or memory phone it happens to. Don't really think it's a deal breaker but it is interesting.

Mine actually shows the code N66mAP
It's an iPhone 6S Plus.
I've experienced zero lag or any other issues, but thought I'd check on this thread!
Under model number mine says N66AP. No 'm'. No lag or glitches at all.
Interesting according the poster that gave that information it would appear that yours is a Samsung and mine is a TSMC. If that information is accurate!
If so that would indicate that the maker of the chip is irrelevant. Since I think it's a software issue it would make sense.
Just checked my regular 6 gold 64gb bought last year from AT&T and it does the same 1-2 second delay with 9.0.2. Bought the 6S Plus 128gb for AT&T from Apple last week and still it does the 1-2 second delay with 9.0.2. So guess has to be a software issue or its suppose to be this way with all phones. But interestingly it doesn't do it when Touch ID is off. Hmmmm
I don't think I'll be sweating it. Guess it's normal.
My 6s has occasionally frozen, did a restore from iTunes as new phone last week it didn't seem to help. I wasn't going to panic until today, when I went to wake my phone and it didn't respond. I tried pressing the home button and power for a hard reset and still nothing. I set it down and then pressed the power button by itself, but nothing finally I pressed the power button again and it was over a minute before anything happens. Called Apple and she didn't help. She told me to make an appointment and they would probably just replace it or they could just send me a replacement. If it is software, why would they suggest a replacement?hopefullt this will be resolved with a software update

UPDATE:
After all night not touching my phone when I turned it on there was a lag again, however it was not the same as it was on my previous phone. It was less than a second long, not 1-2 seconds. Siri suggestion is off. I'm gonna try to turn on this feature and see whats happening. On my wife's 6S+ I never ever could reproduce the delay, and all features is on on her device....
