6s Plus pauses / freezes / lag. Serious issue

Had my phone since launch and have yet to have any lag, freezes and or pauses. I believe that SOME people are, but this is not a universal issue with the phones.
9.1 beta 4 user. Same unlock lag screen issue. I've tried every tip. Wipe clean install etc etc. it's weird how some users say they haven't had the lag at all on any version of the OS. I'm wondering do they know what it is everyone is talking about when we say satus bar lag? Someone posted a couple videos but someone needs to make a video showing the complete issue. No bloggers or sites have the issue up. The most information I've gotten was from the forum.
so i was testing some games out since this supposedly handles them, well. really, just to test the battery run times out since this has been a beast. one of the main best things about it. RR3 played pretty smooth, but MC5 lags. well, more likes pauses every random few seconds and only for a split second. but for action gaming, it's a big deal. my S6e handles it without a hitch. also, I don't really like the colours of MC5 on here. RR3 is okay.
edit: just to add, is anybody else getting this issue with the native keyboard? this, too, is getting old!

REMEDY!!! (hopefully this works) It worked for me, so far can't see any lag whatsoever 
1. Erase all of your fingerprints
2. Register only ONE
3. Hard reset the phone
*My theory on this is that something is wrong with the touch id, because when i turned it off I could not replicate any lag anymore. Signing with password everything worked smooth. So I thought, is there a possibility than this updated touch id comparing data of different fingerprints and since its so fast it unlocks it prior to stop "processing" information on the touch id. Therefore having only one finger in the database solved it because no process happening. I might be totally wrong on this "theory". But it works. Left phone for 10-15-20 minute and after waking it up everything is fast and smooth.
PLEASE try it and see if that helps.

so i think i jinxed myself when i said my battery efficiency has been awesome.
last night before bed, i plugged in at about 4%. i woke up a few hours later and noticed it was at 97%, then fell back asleep. didn't wake up again till later this morning and noticed it was at 92%. i thought that was strange and checked the plug to make sure it was plugged in, and it was. plus, you could still see the charging notification. since i unplugged earlier, it has dropped from 92% to 67% in just a couple of hours. i don't get what's going on. i've already killed all my tasks, and i'm in Low Power mode as always. no other settings has changed and no new apps were added except for deleting a VPN app i was testing, yesterday. ugh!
edit: and now, Usage and Standby times no longer show.

wow..there's something goin on with these...however erasing fingerprints and registering only one totally solved my issue.

Blimey, 38 pages of lag posts. Are you guys sure that you didn't buy a 6+ by mistake?
Zero lag on my 6S+ running 9.0.1 and I know exactly what you're talking about as I had to sell my 6+ because of it. There must be a backup or app conflict somewhere, surely, because the 6S+ exhibits zero lag.

I tried the one finger recognition as well no luck. Still status bar lag/delay whatever you want to call it. Haven't even thought about a swap since people who got replacement devices replicate the same issue.
From new as I had a problem with iCloud not auto-backing up. I was long overdue a fresh installation so spent several evenings faffing about saving content (photos & videos etc), then deleting my backup, erasing all content and downloading apps etc. Then I uploaded all my content. I have zero lag and strangely, my phone speaker is louder now too. Alerts are much louder.
Yeah everyone has such varying experiences. Cool you don't have the lag. I set up everything new re-downloaded all apps signed in everything blah blah still no fix. I got Samsung chip 128 gig att 6 s plus.
