Did it start lagging for you again?

No my lag was gone since beta 3. From my experience, once the lag disappears for whatever reason it never come back unless you restore it. so just updated to beta 4, i have no lag. You should try beta 4 and give some time to see if it improves. Beta 3 fixed it for me that way. It's worth a shot.

9.2 beta 4

Occasional delay on the status bar appearing (seems less frequent than beta 3). There's no lag or unresponsiveness after unlocking. Worth a shot if you're having issues.

I'm downloading and installing now. Lord I hope this update helps. I'd really hate to have to restore my iPhone and setup as new.

Well, it's been almost 1 hour and I have seen no lag, freezing home screen, or graphical glitches! *knocks on wood. Time will tell, but I am optimistic now.

It's still present for me but it is a lot shorter. Have had the issue since launch day and this is the first beta that seems to be working on the issue. I think there is hope

Well I got another 6S+ yesterday, purely due to the loose lightning port on my other. I just couldn't live with the cable dropping out all the time.
So, it's a week 44 Samsung. Lag straight out of the box. Set up as a new phone, no backup, nada. All I did was download a few apps through the App store. Now I can cure this lag by restoring a backup but it's quite frustrating that it's actually impossible to have a clean set-up on these things.

You swapped your lightning fast phone? Or was it someone else who said something about the chip performs like it's overclocked.

And what we really like to know is what you think of your screen. ;)

Yeah, unfortunately I did swap it. It had a super-loose lightning port and that's just not acceptable is it. The cable dropped out if you so much as moved the phone. Despite having a super-fast phone with nice home button, that loose port was ultimately a dealbreaker.

The screen is ok. It has a mild pressure point bottom left like most do, but no 'binding' at the top and fairly even backlighting. Noticeably slower though!

I was stutter/freeze-free for almost 24 hours. Now it's back, although less often and unfreezing easier.

i wonder if the lag will come back if i will upgrade to 9.2 when it will be available. Now on 9.1 i still don't have it.

Didn't say it was fixed. I have noticed the delay is not as bad though. I think they might be attempting to fix it. That's just my results though it seems. So frustrating

The "reduced motion fix" has been there since launch. It's the only way a lot of us can have a usable phone without lag.

I actually prefer the fade animations in Reduced Motion. The only downside I discovered is it also disables Live Photos previews when flipping through photos.

I'm not talking about reduce motion!!! I said beta 9.2.4 has made the lag less. It's still there but it's less.

It's not hardware. Don't get the replacements. My had lag, and after a restore and taking a lot of photos and videos (after a week from restore) the lag disappeared, and did't come back (over a week now)

I agree with dawideksl. I had similar experience with my 6s plus as well. Really laggy/delayed when launching apps and keyboard appearing, etc. however after a week of use, everything went away. I just can't pinpoint what made it to away but it seems like restoring it is the common element amongst all the posts.

My lag has went away significantly with the newest Beta. Sometimes for hours and then sometimes just the time lags. Only problem on this beta is my number sync for att stopped working. Can't make calls via iPad any longer

Lag is back for me today after 8 days. We'll see... Today sometimes its better sometimes worse, sometimes not present at all.

Both iPad Air 2 and 6s plus been really laggy past two days with the status bar. Smh. After all my restores still haven't been able to duplicate a lag free experience.
