Thanks. Waiting your feedback. In general I use Notes app but with the pencil maybe some 3rd party app will be betterLike you I'm hoping the pencil will replace a paper notepad, I've heard good things about Notability, but I wil let you know what I think in 2 hours when it arrives

Apple is already processing a replacement for me and it will ship in 1 business day
(I'm hoping for DPD this time)At least I can count on them. I'll make sure to avoid UK Mail in the future, although in this case we obviously didn't have a choice of courier.
And just as I posted that, received txt msg from Apple saying it had been delivered and now the DPD sites says its deliverered too. Time to go down and loiter around the office mail roommost recent tracking update on the DPD site is still that it arrive at Depot this morning
Got my gold 32gb from the Apple Store at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. More people queueing than I thought there would be, although most were there for the iPhone SE. Love my new toy! The true tone display is subtle, but really nice. The speakers pack a lot of power too! Also got the Midnight Blue case and cover, which were really nice (and pricey). Made a video showing them here if anyone wants to see the Midnight Blue/Gold combo.

Annoying to read some posters have had issues with their deliveries.
Shame Apple can't use one courier company but I guess it would be a logistical nightmare if something went seriously wrong.

Mine has been stuck on processing items for a little bit now, but this is for my replacement ipad. hopefully it gets shipped this evening or tonight.
delivery says 4th april though..(not that any of the other delivery dates were right, but that would be the latest i guess)

Let us know if this progresses, from what I've heard DPD are usually really good, I was very impressed with them. So this sounds unusual, I really hope it's just a mistake and it will arrive today!
Given your issues with UK Mail I'd imagine Apple will excel themselves and get your replacement iPad shipped out to you tomorrow. I certainly hope so, anyway.
Mine's being "Prepared for Dispatch". Estimated to deliver between 01/04 and 05/04 for me. They've finally charged my credit card so expecting to check the status tomorrow with something more concrete.
One of the apple specialists told me he would mark the delivery as urgent. I really hope he did. I can wait til Monday, but tomorrow would be even nicer. Fingers crossed for the both of us.
I'm not normally pro compensation and not a fan of self entitlement but I believe in this case considering how Apple and UK Mail have messed up your delivery Apple should really offer you some sort of compensation. Maybe a free case or smart cover.
I remember when I preordered my iPad Air 2 from Apple I also preordered a product Red smart cover for it. They were supposed to be delivered by UK Mail. The iPad was delivered on time but the smart cover wasn't delivered at all. I called Apple to complain and they sent me out another smart cover for free. As it happened about a month later the original smart cover was delivered by UK Mail so I ended up with two smart covers. The second one is still unused and unopened to this day. I might see if Apple are willing to exchange it for a iPad Pro smart cover. So I agree with others that UK Mail are pretty poor with their service.

I noticed the same thing. I think it was syncing pictures and my music in the back ground. Lasted about 3 hours. It's now running buttery smooth now.

I hope the Agent is true to his word. I've a feeling he will be, personally.
Not saying Apple customer care is 100% all of the time but whenever I've dealt with them they've always been exemplary.
