Sasha and Rosita...

1264505362_cat-fight.gif

Seriously though...Sasha still is the voice of reason, still thinking sensibly and logically while Rosita is just as bitter as ever guided by rage.

Sorry Rosita, karma bit you back according to those backstory tidbits you shared.

Aww, girlfriends & bffs...even through a updated suicide mission, by way of Eugene, excuse me...Dr. Eugene while he commands his new minions.

Keep slithering Gregory.

Maggie...how many months pregnant are you now?

Daryl wants to play the blame game, but Maggie doesn't.

Dr. Eugene, I didn't know you could run so fast.

SASHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Now you're not thinking logically or reasonably.

Daryl, the creeper from the shadows.

We didn't see her die on screen, so we certainly will see her again...just maybe not as we remember her. I still don't get how Sasha thought just running in guns ablaze was the best method. Did she forget about the stealth mission used in the other outpost or the church back from the Terminus area? Not logical. Dammit, when they actually show her death or her new form, it's going to be a tear jerker for sure. Don't forget Michael Cudlitz spilled the beans at Talking Dead after S7 premiere about him recording and we'd see him again...makes total sense now.

Is it Daryl? I thought it was Dwight...didn't he take Daryl's crossbow?

If it's Daryl, which is what I think, another example of just bad story telling. They spent a lot of time getting thelma and louise to the saviors but it seemed like Daryl was looking for them one second and there the next. Maybe I missed something.

BUT WAIT!!...When Jesus leaves Gregory's office and Daryl asks wheres Sasha and Rosita, he has the new crossbow with him. Still a slight chance it could be Dwight...but then that would open up a new can of worms like why was Dwight on the outside of the compound and not on the inside?

The silhouette just seemed a little more stocky and built like Daryl more so than Dwight who is a little more petite. Not to mention it seemed like he was headed there post haste after realizing their whereabouts with a crossbow. BUT then again, the awkward long pause of Rosita staring at the Daryl/Dwight shadow figure makes you wonder...

My vote is Dwight, that's who I think it is.

My wife mentioned to me that the actor who plays Sasha is going to be on a new show coming out soon as one of the main characters. That kind of news usually means a departure from the show where they are working currently. So, I think we will see the end of Sasha soon.

Yes and that's why is makes these final few episodes so silly. We know she is going to die. There will be no drama when she does. I remember thinking this decades ago, when George Clooney left ER. We knew about it for so long, once the storyline that let up to his departure started, it was hard to care. Sasha is going to be on the new cbs access Star Trek show.

Which is why I don't like the Sasha running in all guns ablaze scenario, makes her whole life and story arc seem worthless. If she was at least able to wound Negan somehow, I guess that would grant some sort of consolation prize, but a one person ambush with gunfire on a enemy compound with hundreds of soldiers, just doesn't compute. If anything I think she might reach Negan, but its not going to be a quick death for her like she expects...more like showdown bait or sacrifice in front Rick and Company, sort of like how Herschel went out.

OR maybe she gets the Holly death from the comics.

fingers crossed for a Abraham, Bob and Tyreese flashback...even though I'm sure it'll only be Abraham with new material.

It's just bad storytelling. The cliffhanger (unknown character in the shadows) is so cliche'd, especially for the last two episodes of a season.
Even the Daryl+Maggie scene hiding in the basement felt forced to waste time, although it was nice to see that Maggie clarified that she thinks that Daryl is one of the best things left in the world.
So my question is... what happened in the last three or four episodes? Nothing.

I am re-watching the older episodes with my kids... up to Terminus the quality was very high.

Daryl, the creeper from the shadows.

Love the video. That could be my two kitty's.

Rosita - I would be bitter too if the woman was flashing the necklace I made for the man who I thought was my partner. That was the only part of Abraham that irritated me. Anyhow, Rosita, in real life, is pregnant so if Rosita manages to get out of this unscathed, will her pregnancy be written in the storyline, or hidden? Which has also been done previously.

Dr Eugene - I know people think he's a savior, but I don't. There's more to him and Dwight. Speaking of Dwight, think he is the one in the shadows.

Slithering Gregory - he is the first and only character I really have disliked. Not even the governor, who was just a plain sicko. Can't wait for his demise.

Liked the interaction between Jesus and Maggie, Maggie and Daryl. I have no knowledge of the comic storyline, so seeing this gives the storyline, that not all is a dog eat dog world. That compassion for others exists within alexandria, hilltop and the kingdom.

Sasha - she's leaving the show and it's now up to Gimbell and Kirkman to decide how dang gruesome her death will be. I wish her well because i like her character.

I like that Eugene is the wild card. I really can't tell what angle he is playing.

Simon - the other character I want to have a gruesome demise. Steven Ogg plays that scumbag I love to hate character very well.

Ogg was on talking dead last nite talking about his bromances with the cast. He was just full of himself in a funny way.

Simon is another wildcard for me. Just why were so many Saviors needed to bring back the doctor to Negan? Seemed overkill to me. Personally I hope Simon is the one who gets rid of Gregory, not Maggie, after that kiss up Gregory did.

My hunch is the finale. Someone's gotta die during the finale! As mentioned before, if Sasha takes Holly's death from the comics, this might be sad to watch :(
I don't know what Holly's death is, but someone here wrote that someone already took that death on Fear The WD

Negan kills her (assumed) and let's her reanimate as a walker, only to then put a bag over her head, release her to Rick and company...long story short Rick has to end her.

But it may be a 2 for 1 as if this does happen like the comics, Sasha may bite someone before being put down by Rick.

OMG this thread pops up so much and I can't read it (past page 30 or so..lol). I stopped watching TWD after S1 (became way too soapy) but started again 2-3 weeks ago since I had to do a lot of night-shifts checking our newborn's sleep at nighttime. Now midway through S5 :D - Glen just died...

Catching slowly creeping up on you guys..

In the comics Holly is the female in Alexandria who comes between Abraham and Rosita. Ultimately, Abraham chooses Holly over Rosita and then after Abraham's death Holly wants to seek revenge on the Saviors and Negan. So, there is somewhat of a parallel between Holly and Sasha. However, outside of this one aspect of the plot line the characters are nothing alike. They have different origin stories and play much different roles in the group. Those of us who have read the comics were just pondering the possibility of the writers merging more of their story lines at the end. Obviously, they could do things very different.

S7 E15 "Something They Need"

Well dammit wasn't that a smorgasbord of a tie up...minus any Kingdom.

Kudos to those who called it Dwight in the shadows (although I still think it was Daryl's silhouette lol).

What Eugene did is going to set the stage for Sasha as undead bait, I can feel it. Sasha's probably going to take the pill and turn while being sent over bagged like Holly was.

Wondered why the women at Oceanside didn't just choose to fight (those that wanted) rather than stay at their HQ defenseless?

Oh Gregory...keep bidding your time.

Finale in a week...so bloodshed abound!

Totally disappointed the way they handled Sasha's storyline this episode. She is such a great actor and a longtime cast member of the group. She deserved better. The rape scene was unnecessary. Dave giving her water is enough to incur death by Negan to setup the next scene in the room. They should have expanded it more to show her take down, instead we had more filler of collecting guns, the hilltop and seaside. Which could have taken a total of 5 minutes to wrap up and leave the rest of the hour with Sasha and Dweight.

Eugene is an Alexandrian. His compassion showed during Sasha's pleas to help her die. But when the camera changed over to Sasha her facial expression said she had played Eugene. She still is going after Negan.
Negan, in few lines, tells Sasha he's aware of Ricks plot to overtake the saviors. How? Who's the snitch?

So Rosita sees Dweight, and he just waltzes out to her, to surrender? Ok ... moving on ...

Oh and I do wait for Slimy Gregory's demise.

Kirkman and Gimbell really missed the mark this season. They wasted so much time with garbage filler stories and not focusing enough on the main plots of the story line of the war on Negan.

Will next weeks finale be a bloodbath of war against the saviors and Negan? Or the setup for the war, which would happen with the next seasons opener in October. If I was a gambler, money would be on seeing the war begin in next seasons opening.
