Analyst: MacBook Pro, iMacs at WWDC?

The updates they we talking about in the article are downright obvious...

It's been 6 months between iMac and MacBook Pro bumps so it stands to reason we will see a refresh around June, but I'm hoping we'll see iLife 07 along with iWork 07 at WWDC.
 
It will be totally awesome if apple releasedthe macbook pros
with World wide internet built in.

That way i can use my iphone as a modem and use the data plan i have with cingular for when i am on the road.

But for some reason apple calls them "pro" laptops but lacking in the true essence of a pro machine (a processor and ram is only half of what a pro machine should be)

I just hope a new design plus ssd,wwi,a fingerprint scanner,a beefed up video card and some type of HIGH DEF SUPPORT BOTH IN HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE. If aple fails to deliver at least 3 of the mentioned items on the "pro" line-they should just drop the name and call it something else.

I would recommend that he consider something like this for his forbidden apple needs....

One of these, two 750gb SATA drives (Raid 1 of course- Safety first), and he'll still have about $500 left over versus a new iMac.

Fingerprint scanner? Really? You might want to stay close to your phone in case Apple calls you for some design advice.

Or you could just buy an external HDD, they are great for backing up all sorts of files even porn ;)

Chances are they will keep the same prices and add features:

Lower power LCD lit screens (multi-resolution)
802.11n wireless
Probable 3G or EDGE wireless. BTO
Better external display support
Multi-OS capacity
iPhone integration
:apple:TV integration

Then again, there is the DHS . . .

I'm hoping for LED backlit screens. Really looking forward to OLED screens within the next few years too.

And microchips/circuit boards that are produced without the use of caustic chemicals. Vat-grown carbon nanotube computer anyone?

a lot of refurbished macbook pro coming out in us n uk store,is it normal? or they are clearing their stock now? is it worth to get the refurbished macbook pro?

Powerbook G5 next tuesday......or maybe the new G6 dare to imagine.

On the analyst topic, they do regurgitate everything we read on MR, but there are investors that would rather make decisions on what the expert analysts write than what is written on this rumor site (even if it is the same thing). I do agree that they are being paid for something they didn't really come up with, but that has happened before with operating systems I think.
 
My Dream...

I have a dream... I dream that the iMac will have a detaching wi-fi screen with a touch interface. I will be able to remove this screen from the iMac Base Station and roam free. I could use this screen to access the Internet from any wi-fi hot spot or link to any mac in my local network wirelessly. This is only a dream. :)
